It's been said before.
If you can turn Hulk Hogan...you can turn ANYONE.
It all depends on how its booked.
A heel Cena won't be the end of the WWE when it comes to money. How many kids were upset when Hogan turned? I'm sure A LOT.
If he goes heel, just start putting throwback jerseys on him again, get rid of the arm bands, go back to his old music and you're fine.
The WWE will survive financially. Yes Cena makes a lot of money for them, but the WWE won't collapse if they lose his merch sales.

WWE lost a lot of business when they turned Austin heel in 2001 so unless they have a plan to keep him or someone else marketable, they won't do it. The worst part about Austin going heel was that Rock was leaving for four months... ...and you had a READY MADE face turn for HHH which could have at least bridged the gap, but then he stayed heel and the Two-Man Power Trip was formed. Now you had dominant heels without a truly marketable babyface, and that has shown it does not work.
