Basically awhile back one of the announcers (I want to say Booker T) called Christian 'Christian Cage' and basically the reaction around here was that he was going to get in trouble for it because he used that name in TNA.
...However, didn't he use that name in the WWE too? I seem to recall that he did for a bit after he went solo.
Or am I imagining things?

I don't think he did, or at least it's not how WWE wants him known as. He was Christian Cage on the indies before WWE though

I always liked the sound of Christian Cage better.
Wish they would have gone with it in WWE.

I'm pretty sure Christian owns the trademark to that name, so as long as it was fine with him I don't see how it would be a problem to use it.

I think he used Christian Cage when he was still doing dark matches before he debuted on TV. But once he appeared on TV, he was just Christian.

I miss Christian when he was in TNA. He felt like a big deal over there and showed how awesome he could truly be.

I miss the Two "C"'s hand gesture he would make in TNA.. Me too, but since he's not going to give up the "Captain Charisma" trademark to the WWE, don't expect to ever see it again.

Christian Cage reminded me of Johnny Cage or Nicholas Cage. Funnily enough, that's how he came up with the name way back. He said his two favourite actors were Christian Slater and Nicholas Cage, so he combined the two and "Christian Cage" was born. Glad he went with that and not Nicholas Slater.

Add me to those preferring Christian Cage.
The instant-classic Christian Cage was a great tag, wish he'd bring it back.
