It's a shame how it turned out, but DDP's initial debut was awesome.

Its Jericho's, but it would've been Booker's had the Invasion actually been worth a damn. I remember when he showed up on Raw for the first time and I was so excited by the idea of the Invasion. Well, we know how that turned out.

1) DDP, part of a stupid story but him revealing himself was awesome. 2) Mike Awesome appearing backstage on Raw I believe and (I think) Awesomebombing the hardcore champion and taking the title. Surprising. 3) Jericho, it's third as weirdly as it's promoted as being the best, and as good as it was, it wasn't that surprising. Great moment albeit, but the above two trump it for me.

Jericho had the greatest debut period. hard to get a surprise moment like that again. this guy was mostly a midcarder getting wasted in WCW, and he comes out against The Rock with an awesome promo.
Tazz also had a great debut, even if he wasn't wcw, but it was about the only good thing about his run.

Does that answer your question? ;D I know he's talking about WCW, but man does that fit the mold for WWE now.

Jericho had a great debut, but by that monday it was pretty much all over the news about Jericho coming in as there were alot of Jericho signs in the crowd that night.
i liked Ravens simple debut in wwf as the Raven character during the Lawler vs Tazz match just coming out the crowd and standing there before hitting the evenflow on Lawler.
but i abolustely LOVED DDP's debut....that thing was amazing, mainly because it was such a huge kept secret, they had that gear on him the entire time so nobody knew who it was...and he even had his own private room in the arena and i believe was given a fake name backstage so that nothing would leak out, so when DDP pulled off the mask...the reaction's that night were of legit shock then marking the hell out by the fans...i really give Vince kudos for keeping that whole thing a secret and not have it leak out.

Chris Jericho! He was awesome until now, if he goes back to wearing long tights and not underwear he would be fine.

Even if it wasn't 100% a surprise, Jericho's debut was one of my favorite moments in wrestling ever. Period. The Millenium Countdown ending, the music hitting with suspense and mystery, the HUGE DAMN POP to his name on the 'Tron, ...that... damn... ...pose... and then that so confident look on his face and posture as he turned to face the new universe- it was the definition of a A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS, a threat with a seriously high Power Level. Jericho was MADE in that moment.
I don't think anything can match that debut, just how fast someone was established at the main level. I still get goosebumps even watching it at low-res.

Other the Giant made a cool debut and should have had a more meaningful run with Austin.

Steiner's return at the 2002 Survivor Series was epic.

The first 30 seconds right after DDP took off his mask was awesome..........then people realized that he had to try to put over this dumb storyline then it all went to hell.

Here's one I forgot to put as a choice as well.
Eric Bischoff. Some people marked out like crazy when they saw him pop up on the screen.
I only wish his debut was walking down the aisle instead of backstage.

Other: Lance Storm running in during the Steve Blackman vs. Perry Saturn match from May, 28, 2001. Raw Is War, wish I could put the youtube link, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. He got a hell of a pop too....

The Radicalz.
When Jericho's debut happen when I was still young and didn't relise he was a good wrestler. In WCW he was anoying and was a midcarder, I was really confused why he was coming out to this huge enterence on RAW and challenging The Rock.
