Awesome. I'll have to check them out. Anyone know what happened to Mike Tenay? I'm guessing you're kidding? Tenay's been the lead announcer in TNA for several years. Yeah... I am. Wanted to get a rise but I thought better of it.

Of all time: Tony Schiavone. It takes alot of nontalent to make Bobby Heenan not funny.
Right now: Lawler and Cole. Lawler just sounds bored as hell when he isn't recycling his decades-old jokes and Michael Cole is a human vuvuzela.

Never ever liked Lawler.
Obviously he's been stale as hell in the face role for a few years now, but even as a heel I was never a fan. Back in the 90s when he was commentating with Vince he seemed to me to be trying too hard and he simply wasn't funny. Compare him with Ventura and Heenan before him, he's not even in the same league. He got a little better with JR cos they undoubtedly have chemistry together, but the old pervert shtick got old fast.
As for Cole... he's annoying as hell with the heel thing at the moment, but he's never been a terrible commentator, he just needs to be with the right colour guy. Him and JBL were great together. Hell, even Cole/Tazz had their moments.

Booker T is absolutely awful. He makes no sense, and seems unnatural in the position. "Oh my goodness!", seriously stop.
I liked Matt Striker too, he talked an awful lot but seemed to be a real fan and could laugh at himself. For him to be replace by Booker T, makes me very sad.

Don't really get why people don't like Matt Striker. I think he's great.

I loved Cole on NXT, it was hilarious especially Season 3. But that is because he was making fun of stupid stuff. But the problem is that him doing that on Raw and Smackdown just isn't fun. It's kinda like MST3K, which is one of my favorite shows of all time. Making fun of terrible movies is hilarious, but if your trying to watch a great movie that you love and they keep interrupting trying to make fun of it, it becomes annoying.

Lawler I find him so boring and I hate his attempts at humour. I never got the love for heel Lawler either tbh. Heel Lawler seemed no different than Heel Cole where they just try wayyyy too hard to be a heel and it just seems so false and forced. I prefer announces like JBL and Regal who are just neutral. They have guys who they like and guys who they dislike regardless of their allignment which is how it should be. same here...Lawler was always rather awful in my eyes

In fact, the way Striker sold Booker T's return - 'this is what payperview's all about cos you NEEEEEEVER KNOW' - really added tons to that huge event.

Cole. No contest.
As awkward as Booker can be, at least he puts a lot of energy into it and really seems to care about what goes on in the ring. Even when he messes up, at least it's funny. I enjoy his commentary.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Stanford. Which is good because I felt like the minority in this one forum, being one of the few who liked his commentary style.
Cole must be the only commentator I don't like and it's all because of how the WWE is pushing him. I didn't really mind his commentary before, it was nothing special but it was nothing irritating either. The "vintages" and the "oh my's" are his clichés and that's fine. But now I can't focus on a match because of his incessant need to bully Lawler and JR.
