Basically it would be a countdown of the best heels, with commentary from others about why they were so hated. Or, it could be the 50 "most devious" moments by each heel. If done right, it could be awesome.

No, because it would simply be a "List Of Heels That WWE Is On Good Terms With"
And would also contain a revisionist, factually incorrect version of wrestling history

I dunno, I watched the 50 most influential people in WWE that got published like a year ago, and it included Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and Hulk Hogan, all of which were clearly with TNA, and they talked them up nice and good. Hell, Ultimate Warrior got a decent rub on it, and he's reviled in WWE-town.
Besides, Slaughter would HAVE to be #1. Period. End of list. #2 - #50 would be fun to watch though.
(Any heel that makes you move Wrestlemania because you're receiving death threats from snipers is #1. You find a more effective heel...)

Only if Vince McMahon's not on the list. That would be my main concern, although, admittedly, it'd be hard to argue that he shouldn't be No. 1 at the same time. Same goes for Triple H. Although, when you get down to it, is there really heel who's lasted longer then either of them? Even during the Hogan era, top heels only lasted a year at the most. Of couse, if the DVD included everyone and anyone, Flair also could be in the running for the top spot.

On the other hand, neither of them had done anything near as traumatizing as Jake attacking Macho Man and Elizabeth with a cobra.

I think that's probably more traumatizing. And it was because of Vince. HHH brought us Katie Vick. I'm STILL traumatized.

Maybe it's because I was older but the whole Ministry of Darkness thing seemed more silly and out of place than anything else, to me at least. Hearing Undertaker's chanting described as 'Reciting lines from Ahmed Johnson's autobiography' probably didn't help.

Someone plunged a knife in Terry Funk, and someone else brought a pistol to shoot Heenan. Those actually existed, at least.

They actually did a Top Villain list in Raw Magazine or something a couple of years ago. It featured a few superstars standing in a lineup holding numbers on the cover. I think Roddy Piper was #1.

"Death threats from snipers" was actually code for "poor ticket sales". You know that, and I know that. But I will guarantee you that "Death Threats from Snipers" is the story they go with. As far as the WWE is concerned, this is the "official" story. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if there were actually a couple of death threats. I'm not saying there were enough or they were credible enough to force a change in venue, but there are some crazy/stupid people out there who don't understand that this isn't real.
