Some would say DB has failed to connect with the crowd as well as he needs to. One thing that crowds love is a catchphrase. If DB were to start getting the crowds to revive his old "You're gonna get your effing head kicked in chants" would it spark more interest in him? Keep in mind that in order to keep it PG frickin would need to be substituted for effing but it's seems doable. If the opening of WM is any indication crowds love stuff they chant along with. Thoughts?

Much better. That's chantable, whereas "You're gonna get your frickin' head kicked in" (or however they did it) just doesn't have any flow.

If you have never heard the chant I can understand why don't think it would flow. It takes a bit of getting used as it doesn't follow the usual chant rhythm i.e. " This is awesome" and the like. It used to be a hell of a lot of fun to chant though and it would fire up a crowd. If you've never seen it look for it on YouTube and trust me the crowds will be going bonkers for it. The only issue is will it translate with much larger crowds. Hammerstein ballroom vs the average Raw crowd. I contend that it could.

With enough effort that could turn into a great chant. Don't know why it wasn't decided to push that chant.

Tap or Snap, Submission wrestling.
I'd rather see him just wrestle, and actually show the WWEVERSE that he is an awesome wrestler. At this point, catchphrases shouldn't matter, the way WWE books him should matter more.

It's like reversed iambic quadrameter, if gonna and kicked in were one syllable each.
You're gonna get your f***in' head kicked in!
Rhythmic and fun! But I do like tap or snap, too.

At this point, catchphrases shouldn't matter, the way WWE books him should matter more. The thing is in order to be successful you have to be marketable. A catchphrase is a shortcut to marketability. I truly believe that DB if given the opportunity can win a portion of the crowds based solely on his I'n ring ability but the thing is it won't move him very high on the card. He has the ability to cut a promo and has the personality but has not been given the chance to showcase it outside of his attack on Cole many moons ago. Guys like Angle and Eddie are/were guys that could both wrestle and talk. So is DB but he needs something to get his foot in the door to the next level.

Iambic Pentameter. Still, I'd like to hear it again. I started to say iambic pentameter, but I think iambic is unstressed-stressed and pentameter is five pairs of stressed/unstressed. So this is the opposite of iambic, whatever that is, and there are only four pairs, so it'd be quadrameter rather than pentameter. Or something. I probably just should've said, "It's kind of like iambic pentameter" and been done with it.
