It looked like he was on the top of the world, rising up to the Main Event level then the nonsense with Trish happened and R-Truth, a guy who you have to wonder if he'll even be on the show or not each week, randomly gets into the Main Event spot.
Sounds a little bit like Mr. Kennedy, who was on his way up, got injured, came back and was going to be in a high profile spot till he got into trouble and kept getting sidelined until he was gone.

If he ends up in TNA I will literally explode in rage.

I really don't think this is a case of R Truth taking JoMo's spot. Yes, he may be punished for a bit with this whole behind the scenes drama, but I feel that the WWE know that if they want to (big if), they can have a main event star on their hands with Morrison.
So why not see if Truth can hang in a main event angle too? I feel that they are trying to create as many main event spots as possible now, not taking some wrestler's one away to give it to someone else.

When was John Morrison on top of the world? He had a good series of matches for a bit, then he jobbed for a little while and got pinned by Vickie. And then he was kinda sorta a winner at WM. By all counts its just been a midcarder being in the midcard. JoMo would've been just as random as R-Truth, atleast he's an underdog. Morrison would just have been the third wheel.

Let's not say things we can't take back here.
I mean - being in the doghouse is one thing, but don't condemn him to a horrible fat of being the next Kennedy.

Not really as random seeing as how Morrison has been feuding on and off with Miz for quite a while now. And there's no point in having an underdog that no one expects to win.

You just defined "Underdog"... I'm withholding criticism, I hope he's there to look important and maybe even win instead of just being JobMan.

But in wrestling people want to see the underdog come out on top (see Rey Mysterio). To see someone who's been a jobber for the last few months suddenly get pushed into the main event, doesn't make for a very exciting storyline.

John Morrison is this era's Rob Van Dam. An upper midcarder who's bad/average on the mic, but very good in the ring. Credible enough to hold all the minor titles multiple times, but not credible enough to become world champion (although he will get the occasional world title shot).

It's a hard storyline to pull off effectively, but when you do, it's fantastic. And he doesn't have to win for it to work. Back on topic, it wasn't Morrison's spot to be taken. R-Truth is just fresher then another rematch. Edit: Grammar.

I usually say he's this era's Jeff Hardy, flippy midcarder with bad mic skills (MAAAAAN!) that takes forever to win the title, though in both cases he's without the drugs.

Can we get a webshow of John Morrison hanging out with a bunch of drugged up hicks rambling on about how self important they are?

Not really. Ever since the Falls Count Anywhere match was wasted on Raw, its been clear that he is there for a cool spot every so often. The WWE arent willing to pull the trigger on him yet. Give it time.

If they do let this kill any hope of a Morrison push, they're morons seeing as how he's one of the few young, over faces they have when they're in desperate need of some.

To be fair, would you care enough about yourself to work twice as hard coming back from an injury like Matt's if the only people who cared about you were Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore, Greg Helms, and R-Truth? ....the sad part is that Matt still has more people who legitimately care about him than I do, and NOBODY cares about Matt Hardy :/

He just seems to bland and boring. He even looks generic. The most interesting thing about him is the first five seconds of his entrance.
