If Rock hosted again next year or interfered, it would suck. It needed to be Rock/Cena and it will be. Now whoever Taker faces (probably HHH) will be a huge 2nd main main event with him going for the historic 20-0 record.

Why on earth would Taker fight HHH again? It's been done twice. There is literally no reason after that match to have it again. (At Wrestlemania)

I wonder if they'll still go with HHH vs Taker at SummerSlam mind you.

There is no possible way they go with Taker vs HHH again. You cant build on that match for HHH. He threw the kitchen sink at Undertaker.

(At Wrestlemania) As a fan of the cracking match they had at the weekend I agree. I don't see any reason for them to fight again and if they did it would probably be another brawl just like what we got on Sunday. I wanted Cena vs Taker but now thats not going to happen I don't know where that will leave Taker. Is there any big opponents left for Taker to face other than Cena?

Well, HHH just did a promo saying he's "waiting" for the Undertaker to come back, so it's not over.
I'd rather see HHH/Taker again rather than seeing those guys immediately burn out other feuds.

Remember the last time they announced the Mania main event one year in advance? Didn't work out so well for Kennedy, did it?

I don't think the plan was for Kennedy to even wait till then. It was supposed to be a surprise attack.

I refuse to believe that The Rock just all of a sudden told them he'd wrestle next year and they had to change all the plans. Very newzy.

Right. Taker/Cena gets called the main event every year until it happens.
Don't believe this one bit.

Well this next year you got to think; this is the 20th match for Taker at Wrestlemania. Whomever he works, will have to be huge. But with Cena tied up with the Rock now, HHH seems the most likely candidate. But as SAVE.US.FROM_CENA said, what else can they do. It will be interesting to see.

Hopefully The Rock does wrestle in Miami or this will be a major letdown. As for Taker, they've got a year to build someone up to challenge him. Maybe they'll let Punk face him. That'd be pretty good if Taker can handle it.

maybe they changed their minds, after realizing mania 27 stunk in terms of booking.

I refuse to believe that The Rock just all of a sudden told them he'd wrestle next year and they had to change all the plans. Very newzy. Exactly. It took 7 years to get his ass to agree to even show up live in the building. He sure as hell didn't decide in 2 hours to have a match 12 months down the road. Though I admit Undertaker vs HHH @ Summerslam makes the most sense. And Undertaker vs Cena @ WM28 would have been an easy way to sell the show. I get the significance of the Rock/Cena match and everything that can be built into it. That storyline has years of slow build coming into it already. And certainly The Rock goes in the HOF next year in his hometown of Miami....it has to be his last match ever though. No more returns. I don't want to see HHH vs Undertaker at WM again....it's happened 2x that's plenty for them. Undertaker eventually has to face Cena at WM. Maybe Undertaker can just face Kane and retire next year? 20-0 is respectable. Other contenders I can see for next year: Wade Barrett, CM Punk, Del Rio, EDGE.

I vote for either Jericho or Vince himself against the streak for Mania 28. But it will probably be HHH again. again. again.

I refuse to believe that The Rock just all of a sudden told them he'd wrestle next year and they had to change all the plans. Very newzy. I agree. because going into WM. The Rock openly stated that he not against Wrestling another match. I doubt this was ever planned. People been saying Taker vs. Cena for the last few years. I can see them still going Taker vs. HHH at SummerSlam. I don't see them doing HHH vs. Taker III at WM. Then again they did do it with Austin vs. Rock. Which they made the story about how the Rock did it all but do one thing. That beat Austin at WM. HHH could basicly play that same card on Taker. Me personally. I say Taker faces someone else. Who? well we have a year to build up someone. Maybe not as big as an HBK or HHH but someone. A younger guy have it easy. He can say what makes him different would be I'm younger and more hungry to beat Taker because knowing if I do. It will summit my legacy for the rest of my career.
