Did it look like he still had it or what? Think he has what it takes for one more match?

what's the injury that finally forced him out? He doesn't seem to be hurting as much these days.

Austin's gonna come out next week and challenge Randy Orton to a match.
That takes place two years from now...

Oh, also just so I'm not some snide jerk...
Austin was awesome tonight and I marked out like a dork watching him go through his moves. I would LOVE to see him have one last match. I really believe he's still got it.

Brilliant, I marked more tonight than I have since Bret first came back. Austin is my all time favourite and I would LOVE for him to have one more run/match. I think he is capable, and tonight proved he could still go.

I remember hearing back in the early part of the 2000s that HBK was done wrestling and that he would never ever return in a wrestling ring because of his back.
Ten years later, he was arguably putting on better matches at the end than he was in his prime. Not sayin' SCSA is the same, but as the old sayin' goes stranger things have happened.

Austin has said that his neck is now in pretty good shape, and he believes that he still has one last big match left in him. I think if he set a goal for himself, then he could lose the beer gut and get back in ring shape within a few months.

As long as he worked with someone he trusted and they stayed away from moves that could cause permanent injury, I think he could put together a decent match. Throw in a lot of weapons/outside the ring stuff and it would be passable.

He was just terrific on TE tonight. And I thoroughly enjoyed him stunning the dickens out of A-Ri too. Fun night of wrestling compared to the debacle that was WM 27.

I was marking out like it was 1998 all over again. The guy has still got it, without a shadow of a doubt. I wonder if booking another match for WrestleMania a year in advance would be completely out of the question...

Austin was perfect on Tough Enough. He is playing a badass but not in an over the top way. I love his interactions with the contestants and it is the best work I have seen from him since he was an active competitor. I never liked his sporadic appearances (stunner, beerfest, repeat). This gives him a chance to be really interesting again without the same old routine we usually see in the ring. His passion for the business is obvious again.
