If that didn't make any sense:
Cena's humbling last night is the latest event being cited as seeds for a heel turn, but it does seem like there's been an awful lot of them lately. How many other times has it been set up so that a heel turn for Cena would've been a viable option or resolution.
The second most recent one I can think of is the whole Cena-joins-Nexus and refs for Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett, that a whole lot of this board thought would follow through.
I seem to recall other times though that a heel turn was predicted without being totally out of the blue.

How Cena is still being looked at as a heel in this feud with The Rock is baffling and disgusting. Cena was just minding his own business until The Rock turned up and started being a jerk.

The Randy Orton vs. Barrett match was the only time when I thought it was perfect to start a turn. Especially after Piper's promo on Raw.

Was there not ideas floating around how a heel turn could come from the time Carlito began randomly confronting Cena on Raw and screaming about the guys in the back being sick of him then Jesse Ventura guest hosted Raw and claimed there was a conspiracy going on which was keeping Cena as the poster boy of the WWE? There was potential for this to go somewhere and of course it didn't
