I used to love Christian's original "Just Close Your Eyes" theme by Waterproof Blonde...until I heard the whole song. Aside from the chorus, it's kinda bleh. But I'm actually really digging Story of the Year's version, despite not really being a fan of the band. And even though it was a complete ripoff, his TNA theme was definitely one of the promotion's better themes.
So, what do you think?

I personally preferred his TNA theme. It was epic, as well as original. Just can't seem to get with "Just Close Your Eyes," myself.

I like the original version of Just Close Your Eyes, with the violin opening and girl singing.

I don't know how people keep missing it. Christian's TNA theme didn't rip off "Just Close Your Eyes", it ripped off "My Last Breath" by Evanescence. But I like both versions of the song.

Anything but original, however. To be fair, I'd never heard the song by Evanescence before, so it was new to me. With that said: Evanescence>TNA Theme>Return Theme>Original Theme

The Waterproof Bonde version sounds amazing. Still like the current version but the song seems much better with a female singer.

Honestly Dale Oliver's version wasn't terrible, but it has to be Waterproof Blonde in my book.

I prefer Story of the Year over Waterproof Blonde to be honest. Like a poster above me said, I find the full song from WP to be pretty dull, and SOTY's version just feels amped up to ten fold.

I prefer SOTY to Waterproof Blonde, but I like both songs. I like his TNA theme more than Just Close Your Eyes, but that's because I like Evanescence.

'At Last' was superior to all three, I think.

Waterproof Blonde. The song sounds more epic with a female singer.

You know who should do Christian's theme? Greek Fire (a side project from two members of SotY).

Waterproof Blonde version for me, oddly enough. I actually don't like Waterproof Blonde as a band but I love this song, whereas I like Story of the Year as a band but don't like their version of the song.

If (when) Christian turns heel, I hope he goes back to Waterproof Blonde. That is more suited for a heel than SOTY's version is. Personally, I prefer the Waterproof Blonde/TNA Theme mash-up.

Well let's see. The Waterproof Blonde version was unique among WWE entrance themes and instantly recognizable. The Story of the Year version is generic and sounds just like every other shitty entrance theme of the modern era. TNA is TNA, so their version doesn't count.
Guess which one I like best.
