I saw him WM weekend at the DG-USA show. I was somewhat impressed but didn't leave thinking I had seen the future.
I've done more investigating online since he signed the developmental contract with WWE and I like what I see.
So to those who are more familiar:
* Does he have what it takes to make it in the big leagues?
* Is he too edgy for WWE? And can he adapt?
* Are all his promos since the movie came out Heath Ledger/Joker inspired? (He really seems to consciously copy the cadence and delivery.)
* Where will he have to take his character to make it more accessible to a wider audience?

He has shown he's got quite a bit of depth. Complete with reciting monologue from the Keanu Reeves movie, Point Break.

He's one of the best promo guys in the indies, so he'll fit in very well in WWE. Now if they actually push him, that's another matter.

I have never watched one match, but I have seen his promos against Bryan Danielson and I think he could be a huge star

Having only really seen his "Chicago Street Fight" against Jimmy Jacobs for a full match, the dude's got IT. He can talk, he can work, and he can brawl. He'll do well in WWE.

Average in the ring. Having great matches with Jimmy Jacobs and Bryan Danielson proves nothing.
He is the Cena to Kevin Steen's Rock.

I've been on the fence for a minute about Moxley, but the thing that won me over with him was actually taken from that night. Moxley cuts a promo about the Austin Aries/Yamato match that also lampoons the first Terry Funk retirement.
FOREVER! FOREVER! FOREVER!
FOREVER!
I was laughing my ass off during the whole thing, while my cousin was wondering what the hell I was smoking.

Watch Moxley vs. Jacobs from Bushido in the I Quit Match. Brutal. Loved it.

Moxley did awesome stuff in CZW when he was part of Switchblade Conspiracy.
Today's average WWE wrestler doesn't wrestle worth crap. Having said that, Moxley fitting in is just a matter of him watering down his style to match that of his peers in WWE. He is capable of solid promos, but whether he'll be allowed to cut them as he has done on the indies depends largely on how much freedom WWE will give him.
