Bad Attitude (Bobby Eaton and Steve Keirn) -They just clicked so well together This is in large part to Bobby Eaton being an AWESOME tag wrestler. They coulda paired him with David Flair and the team would have been great by him being there

I think the Smoking Gunns were actually a pretty good team that could be remembered better than they were. They had some good years. co-signed. They were actualy a pretty solid team and had some sick looking moves I'd say the whole division in 1993 is SUPREMELY underrated. You have: Money Inc. Steiner Brothers Smoking Gunns Quebecers Headshrinkers Heavenly Bodies Tell me that isn't stacked? That's not even including jobber teams like Well Dunn. Even the useless lumps Men on a Mission had a gimmick to get the crowd going.

Power and Glory - The Rockers
P & G were on a roll in late 1990. The 2nd heel team behind Demolition. The big turning point was LOD and the Nasties entering the company. P & G faded out. LOD sqaushed them at Mania and the Nasties won the titles from the Harts.
Likewise for the Rockers, 2nd face team behind the Hart Foundation in 1990 before LOD came along, a year later they split up after a pretty uneventful 1991. Faced The Orient Express at RR 91 (which is a great match) and Haku/Barbarian at WM7 in the throwaway opener, couldn't get on the Summerslam 91 card and defeat at SS91 leads to their split. Could have been used so much better in their whole run, but especially 1991.

Some good picks here. I'll throw out another one: Cade and Murdoch.

I'm gonna get yelled at for this, but both The American Wolves and The Kings of Wrestling. Why yelled at you ask?
Because none of these guys have what it takes as singles to get over big time in WWE, but if WWE had any interest in tag teams at all, both these teams would be great.

Hero and Claudio might be able to get over by themselves if giving a fair chance... But Creative doesn't know how to do that anymore

I disagree, at least on behalf of the Kings of Wrestling. when you say they don't have what it takes to make it as singles stars in the WWE, what are you implying they are missing? this issue is surely subjective but I can think of current WWE wrestlers who have less of an imposing look, I can think of wrestlers who have less talent on the mic, and I can think of wrestlers who would have a lot of work to do to meet either Hero or Claudio's talent in ring

Good call on Lo-Down, although the problem was it was seen as a step back for D'Lo, who not much earlier, was the Euro-Continental champion. Chaz' gimmick as Beaver Cleavage failed (and then as just himself), and this was just a situation where two guys with no prospects for the immediate future were thrown together.

Now that I re read my post I might have just been hard for the sake of being harsh. What I really meant was, if WWE had any interest in real tag teams, they could leave ROH tomorrow and do great stuff as tags in the WWE.
At the same time however, I don't see any of them really have great runs as singles. I feel the same way about those teams as the MCMG. Great tags at the next level, but not exactly big singles stars

The Beverly Brothers/Enos and Bloom. You have these two big, tough looking guys who look like they could beat the hell out of you... So what does Vince do, give them a borderline gay gimmick rather than make them violent heels and jobbed them left, right and centre. They reformed in WCW and received the same nopush.
My second vote goes for 90% of real teams formed in the WWE in the post attitude era. It's hard to live up to potential when your sole purpose is to be fed to the main eventers in handicap matches or as placeholder tag champions whilst the WWE gets ready to rehash the enemies as tag champs storyline for the 100th time.

Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson in WCW. I thought the announcers did a great job of putting them over as the two greatest tag specialists coming together.

I'll go with Eaton/Anderson, because Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane were great partners for Eaton, Arn was a talent upgrade over both and could cover the role where Bobby is at his weakest, promos. Had Bobby been willing to promote himself through promos, he'd been a regular World Title challenger in WCW in his prime. Another Eaton team which died before its time was the Blue Bloods with Steve Regal. I saw the promo which launched the team where Regal was challenging/being challenged by Eaton, then after a few moments, Regal bailed out, took the mike and started complimenting Eaton and asking him to join forces. I felt that, although the promo was part of the angle, there was a lot of truth in it as well, since Eaton was almost universally respected in the locker room. Eaton's high-impact top rope offense and Regal's technical style (later David Taylor paired with Eaton) were nice compliments to each other.

I always thought it was really weird and even a bit disrespectful to call them 'The Pitbulls' and I don't ever recall the announcers mentioning the original Pitbulls.

I don't know what happened. I heard he was let go because he skipped on indy dates once he was signed to a developmental deal. Hopefully he'll still get a shot someday. Hero still strikes me as a backyarder, albeit a very polished one who finally gave up his UFO pants after far too long.
