I thought this needed it's own appreciation thread, mostly because I thought he was freaking hilarious, especially when he mentioned people hacking his Twitter account.
So yeah, Ziggler's awesome. Glad to see they buried the SRS gimmick as quickly as they started it.

I'm not sure he was ever meant to be completely SRS. I think the brown hair was just because his long hair was damaged pretty badly, so he was going to have to cut it and start over before he bleached it again.

I dunno, they were playing up his 'new attitude' a bit much for it to just be about the hair if you ask me.

I just found the whole thing surreal, hearing the word 'heel' on commentary 4/5 times in 5 minutes lol

Didn't see the show last night but glad to see Dolph getting praise for his commentary, I remember him commentating on an Edge match before their Royal Rumble match and he was god awful. So hopefully he has improved.

He was awesome, but they tried way too hard to seem hip by plugging Twitter constantly for like half an hour. It was painful to listen to.

Best he's ever been.
Before on commentary, he was nervous, unsure, etc. Last night he was calm, confident and funny as all hell. Seems like he's finally getting comfy and comfortable with speaking. And if that's the case, the sky's the limit for him.

Yeah, he killed it. I think they need to start letting him talk for himself more rather than always have Vickie do it. There's some major untapped potential there.

To think all they needed was to put him on NXT and give him an open microphone and suddenly he's improved by leaps and bounds in speaking.

I'm not sure what has changed since the last times he's been on commentary, but he was VASTLY improved. Sky is the limit if the guy gets his mic work to a high level.

I feel like Dolph is the kind of guy they're not sure if they should even trust with a live mic But yeah, I couldn't stop laughing at "HE JUST KICKED HIS FACE OFF OF HIS NECK!"

I agree about the untapped potential part. Even before, he's had good instincts when improvising and on NXT. And Vickie hardly speaks for him recently. He's finally out growing her. I also think speaking on commentary has hurt ADR. He's great with scripted lines but it's when he's left to himself that he stumbles..Ziggler seems like the opposite.

But yeah, I couldn't stop laughing at "HE JUST KICKED HIS FACE OFF OF HIS NECK!" And then followed up with, "Nothing left but dreads and a little goatee".
