So, it's been said that Ahmed was prone to hurting people, which led to him being released for being unsafe... but.. who did he actually hurt? Everything I've read on it just vaguely said he had "injured" too many people, but I don't recall a rash of injuries (except w/ himself), were they jobbers or something?

No real broken bones or things of that nature, but his shots were stiff and the landings weren't much better. I know Owen Hart was on the receiving end of a lot of it.

I heard he wasn't fired because of his stiffness, but because he efused to put Kurrgan over.

I heard he wasn't fired because of his stiffness, but because he efused to put Kurrgan over. I read in Mick Foley's book that Ahmed refused to job to Chyna. But I've always thought he was released just because he was so injury-prone.

I heard that he sent Rocky Maivia into a hospital where he coughed out blood, though another source says that he did it teach the arrogant young-yun a lesson.

Faarooq suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung as part of the Chicago Street Fight at WM13. (It was either the bodyslam through the French announcer's table or the part where he was wearing the hangman's noose and got pulled from the top turnbuckle to the floor.)
Sheesh, every few weeks since Faarooq's debut in July 1996, you'd read in the Torch about how one gave the other some sort of injury. (Faarooq kicked it off by a stiff shot to Ahmed's kidney, which hospitalized him.)

Didn't he leave because his sister was dying from cancer?

I think it was Owen like someone said, but I think I remember somebody being in a hospital for three different injuries all from Ahmed.

I remember reading PWI at the time that Owen got a concussion from Ahmed's scissor kick.

Didn't he leave because his sister was dying from cancer? Yeah that's what I'm thinking. He said so in a shoot interview.

I thought he was released because he had a weight problem. Oh no, that was when he was in WCW.

You can thank Ahmed for getting rid of Fatu's Sultan gimmick. He injured him shortly after WM with a 2x4.... and that was the end of the Sultan.

A lesson for not burning his stuff, and for being on his own at dirt teen. Well, the Rock never was always on his own.
