Its ok; but they could have come up with a more interesting way of booking it. Christian should have been allowed to keep the title for a while...maybe till Summerslam. They should have slowly built towards a heel turn with him doing heelish things without officially turning. Kind of like the Punk/Hardy feud.

I'm not liking the idea of Christian getting buried in it. absolutely...he looked like a TOTAL joke on past Friday's Smackdown, also Orton is one-upping him almost every week and pinned him how many times already?

I like it for the simple fact it's different. Sure, we've seen Orton/Christian matches in the past (circa 2005), but this is basically a new feud.

My problem is I have a hard enough time enjoying Randy Orton without them telling me the other guy is the bad one but what I'm seeing not correlating with that. They did it with Punk and they're doing it now with Christian. Like with Punk, I understand where Christian's coming from and don't think he's wrong.
I think what this does, as far as I go, is it just feels like they're trying to force me to like Randy Orton. I don't, I haven't for some time and going about it in this way doesn't help their cause.

I don't particularly like the feud, but it was worth it just to get that Randy-Riley-Jimmy segment.

EXACTLY. Orton never really had a face turn. He just threw his arms out at Mania, and started beating up bad guys instead of good guys, and all of a sudden we're supposed to start going "OMGZ YAY ORTON!" I absolutely despise "turns" like this, with no real explanation and no true character development.

it just feels the same as any other Orton feud of late. the opponent gives great promos but has to act like a coward. Orton acts heelish, threatening to severely injure or kill his opponent and then tries to punt them and others in the head taking them out. this isn't how the "good guy" that's been wronged acts. yeah yeah blah blah The Viper character sucks. he acts like the biggest asshole and is supposed to be the top face.

I think the stuff has been awesome. Heel Christian is miles better than that bland face thing he's been doing, and the matches have been awesome. Can't ask for much more. Their best match was at Over the Limit, where Christian worked face and Orton heel. The Capitol Punishment one was fine but nowhere near as good. Internet fans are going to find every face bland, so whatever. I'll take "bland" babyface Christian and his selling/comebacks over Whiny Heel Mad Libs promos and whatever Orton is supposed to be.

This. God I miss pre-turn Christian already. Best babyface on the roster; enough of an edge to be cool without being an actual heel, vulnerable enough to be sympathetic without looking weak. I'd be more into heel Christian if he was either given or doing the most generic heel material for his promos. Change a few words and basically any face turning could be doing them.

I like the matches, although so far the results have been one sided with orton winning all of the singles matches. I just don't like Christian being the heel. I don't want to boo him.

It's rubbish. Each time Christian fails to win the title, it makes him look more of a joke. He'll probably win it eventually, but by then the damage will be done, and Orton's "Viper" persona just bores me

I'm enjoying it. I was so happy when Christian finally turned heel. Face/face fueds are boring. This is great because Christian's promos are getting much more interesting. I loved when he said he wouldn't talk to the WWE Universe anymore and spoke to Cole instead. Great stuff, honestly better than Truth/Cena by a mile and Sting/Anderson just seems silly in comparision. I don't see it. This isn't heel Christian from the early 2000's feuding with Cena, it's just Christian reciting some of the most generic heel-rants since ever. He literally looks like he's reciting a 'Do This to be Hated' flowchart. At any rate, I don't like it for the same reason I didn't like Orton/Punk. It's just more or boring, crappy Orton being carried to good matches by superior performers.

Christian is so boring, he has been for years. Orton is one of the most heavily overhyped and underskilled 'main eventer' as is as generic as them come

It started off awesome as a feud with two faces going against each other and having amazing matches... Until Christian turned in a very weak and phony (even for WWE) way. They could have built to it a lot more... have him really get frustrated over losing etc. etc.
The matches have been amazing. I like Orton and Christian on the mic, and they play well off each other. But lately it's just getting old... dragging it out too long.

I'm pretty sure people are missing the WWE's intentions, with this. I think they mean this to be one of their things where older fans cheer one guy and the kids cheer the other guy, like they do with Cena sometimes.

Christian's clearly being positioned as a heel and Randy Orton's character isn't really meant to appeal to kids

I'm surprised at the negativity towards it tbh. It's my pick for fued of the year so far. Two great wrestlers having great matches, with a solid storyline behind it.

I'd say he is (in my estimation) the 2nd most popular wrestler with the kids.
