This might explain one aspect of the smackdown spoilers, as a backup in case he can't perform on Sunday.

Partial source F4Wonline? Why not give them full credit for the story? And this sucks because that means Christian would win by default and not get the satisfaction of beating Orton one on one. But the upside it gives him more ammo for his heel agenda.

What's the over/under Matt Morgan shows up, and begs him not to wrestle?

What's the over/under Matt Morgan shows up, and begs him not to wrestle? Sooo, Christian becomes World Heavyweight Champion again, and Matt Morgan is back in WWE?

Partial source F4Wonline? Why not give them full credit for the story? Because it may not be from there. Newz sites love to take one item from a place like F4W or another reliable site and place it among their made up crap, then throw in this partial credit line to try and legitimze the whole thing.

That is the case a lot of the time, but this news item is actually on F4W. But giving "partial credit" is pretty stupid since they basically just reworded exactly what was said on F4W.

Yeah that's about it. Just that was the first place I saw it.

Orton concussed and Cena is working hurt....if those two had to take time off at the same time that would be terrible for WWE. I wonder if they'd bring Batista back if that were to happen.

Assuming he wants to come back. He mentioned in a shoot during some MMA event that he didn't like the way they were booking the WWE, the whole PG thing and all. Ironically, I did a "Worst Case Scenario" thread not too long ago. Never factored in an Orton injury, though.

I figured he got a concussion from that stiff belt shot Christian gave him last week. Could've been lingering effects from that, coming to a head at the live event in Madrid.

But the upside it gives him more ammo for his heel agenda. That would actually move the story along quite nicely, if Christian won the belt by default. I'm not usually one to advocate just handing someone a belt, but I do think it could fit in really well with the story.

Yeah, Christian winning the belt without beating Orton would actually fit perfectly into the story.

I'm glad to know they weren't just fabricating a concussion on a performer just for storyline purposes.
Karma might get them.

Wow. There must be some cosmic force beyond the grasp of our mortal consciousness that is pissed off that they took the belt off Christian so soon too. Regardless I hope Randy recovers (even though he'll still be champion after Capitol Punishment whether he wrestles or not).

Not enough people watch SmackDown for Orton being gone to matter enough. The ratings would stay about the same. If Orton and Cena were both gone they'd bring back Triple H, try to rush an Undertaker return, and maybe get Jericho back. They'd be ok for a few months.
