Now, Zack Ryder has never been somebody that I really cared about, I think he's a talented guy and I enjoy his YouTube show.
Having said that, his fandom has gone from tolerable, to annoying(bringing him up in EVERY FREAKING THREAD), and to just down right ridiculous. The backlash from not putting him on TV last night so overblown that I'm not surprised it's a work. Why can't people get through their minds that Zack IS getting pushed to a degree, he appeared on TV with the WWE champion three weeks in a row(the champion also happens to be the biggest star in the company BTW) and last week he even got a match with the U.S champion. Any true fan of his would realize that this is a good thing. But after last night people have seemingly forgotten this, he misses ONE SHOW(yes I'm aware it was his home town, big f***ing deal he got a match on superstars from what I heard) and now he's getting buried and mistreated by WWE? Suddenly people feel the need to whine, bitch and moan that he is not getting a push and nobody in the company likes him? It is completely asinine to think that and honestly puts a bad light on the other Ryder fans who actually think he is doing fine.
So that rant was long, inane and went nowhere but I just had to type that. TL;DR: Quit your bitching and realize that Zack a low card jobber not getting a push is not the end of the f***ing world.

In case you don't know, the backslash is coming because dirtsheets say Vince lied to him that he would get a match on RAW just to screw with him. People were disappointed but more or less okay with him not being on RAW.
Most of the revolt is coming because of the dirtsheet report(which is supported by tweets by Zigger) not him missing the show.

And so you make a thread that will inevitably bring more attention to it?
Sounds productive.

The constantly fluffing of the WWE is getting ridiculous. Post that to one of the workers who bitched about it.

Is JR's BBQ sauce in Canada? Because if it isn't that sounds like a good thing to complain about.

It's certainly not ridiculous and I'm not even a big Ryder fan. Here's the thing, there was a time that WWE used to listen to their fans. Clearly that time has passed but it's a damn shame. Listening to their fans brought them the biggest boom period they've ever had...I think we all just want to feel like our viewership and patronage matters even just a little bit. I really don't think that's too much to ask.

Actually, I think it is. One of my friends told me the other day he saw a couple of bottles in a supermarket near where he lives.

If people can bitch about CM Punk or Daniel Bryan they can certainly bitch about Zack Ryder, at least if that story about the rib is true.

Alright I want to clear something up: The general complaints are not bad. It's horrible overblown stuff that makes it seem like Ryder is some almighty savior of the Wrestling world and WWE not pushing him will cause the company to fall.

Most people aren't saying he's going to usher in the WWE's next boom period, they just want him to get a chance to prove himself.

People were disappointed but more or less okay with him not being on RAW. Most of the revolt is coming because of the dirtsheet report(which is supported by tweets by Zigger) not him missing the show. Is it really that hard to believe Ryder may have been planned to have a brief segment and it got dropped due to time restrictions? As with the hysteria over Bryan's "firing" last year, this whole attitude that Vince McMahon hates us smarky internet-based fans so much that aspects of the show are booked specifically around f***ing with us strikes me as fundamentally arrogant and presumptuous on our part; we're a pretty small niche, all things considered. Of course, the dirt sheets are going to have a field day with this, because their main source of revenue is educated guessing based around telling their subscribers what they want to hear. I expect there's going to be plenty of nonsense going around that's as factual as the story about HBK getting incensed over the Bryan business and complaining to Vince over it. With all due respect to Ryder (who I do believe has something, and will probably get his shot a few years down the line) and his fanbase, I can't help but think a lot of this outrage is coming from fans who were looking for something to be outraged over in the first place.

There are two or three other threads that you could have used and bitching about there bring too many threads on someone by starting another isn't helping your cause.
