What are your overall feelings of the WWE All Stars game?

It's okay. I sold my copy (as well as Marvel vs. Capcom 3) to get LA Noire when low on funds - I plan to get it again when the price goes down, which won't be long - but it's an okay game. Not great and the best they can offer for replay value is having patched out the unlock everything code and having made it take f***ing forever to unlock one outfit, much less all of them.

It's okay. 6/10 or so. I'd rather they kept the Legends of WrestleMania series going and made it good, but, whatever. I'd welcome an improved sequel for All Stars, as long as the roster is bigger and half of it isnt DLC that will never be released......

Awful controls ruin it.

A remake of WWF in Your House would have been better.

It's a decent little game, but there's not much replay value (particularly since character creation is so limited) and the reversal system's rather... Shaky, to say the least.

Some neat ideas,a good roster but severely lacking in depth, and the controls...by god i still cant a hold of them even a month or so owning the game.

I'm still sort of baffled by some of the choices for the WWE side of the roster. Why Kofi, Swagger, and McIntyre in particular? Kofi's probably there to be the token black guy, fair enough, but Swagger and McIntyre (despite Drew being one of my favorites to play as) are just weird additions that would have been better used on an on-disc Jericho and, I dunno, Christian or someone.

It's not bad. It's basically an improved version of the TNA iMPACT! game, taking it from "suck" to "not suck". It's set up to play like an unholy hybrid between a wrestling game and a fighting game, and for that reason, even though Christian's the better "Wrestler", I think it's fine that Kofi's in instead of him. Kofi's big moves (TiP, SOS) are a bit more interesting and varied in the long run compared to what Christian's would have been (Reverse DDT, Killswitch).

I love it, it's fun and easy to master but also a challenge too. Contrary to a previous poster I find the reversal system simple and no problem at all. It's just a matter of timing plus I like not unlocking everything right away, means there's always something to work towards. I play SvR if I want a long drawn out season etc. All Stars is great for playing with company and just having a bit of fun.

It's not bad, but the limited character creation kinda hurts it for me, personally. I'm a fan of making my own characters and etc.

Not a fan of arcadey style wrestling games. I prefer realistic sim style ones.

I only played the demo, but the horrible controls pretty much guaranteed I wouldn't buy the full version until it's $20 or less.

Considering when the game would've started going into production (after all, they already had a gameplay demo at last year's E3), the roster was probably worked out around when Swagger was getting his WHC run and Drew was still at the peak of his "chosen one" push.

I bought it the day it came out, and I'm still playing it. The gameplay is incredibly fluid and responsive, and seemingly only stumps people who aren't that good at video games. Great change of pace after the far too easy SvR games.

Great change of pace after the far too easy SvR games. Agreed. My flatmates and I played it solidly for about 2 months, the only thing that puts us off playing now is the ridiculously long loading times and that we've kinda done everything there is to do. Would love to see a sequel with more wrestlers and match types but I dont know how well some matches would translate to the control scheme which works perfectly for regular matches. Also a co-op story mode would be good!
