Totally agreed that they need to play it up more. Start from the beginning of the song and play it louder! And make a big show of it. Give him a robe and a spotlight and a slow walk!

I like the theme, but it sort of seems like a heel theme to me. If they made it more grandiose, with robes, lights, smoke, all that jazz, it might work, but as it is, it is kind of bland.
Public domain music in general can seem kind of jobber-tastic, though.

I like the song for Bryan and think it will sound great as a WM anthem if he goes all the way.
But I wish they'd license a better version than the third-rate "Jimmy Hart version" they're using now.

They should use Final Countdown as his theme. THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Will probably never happen, but I'd mark so hard

Like the theme, I can see and agree with those saying they could play it up and make it a bit grander, though.

It's a good piece of music but it's been overdone and overused by too many movies that it just seems cheesey to me.
I'd like him to have something in a similar, classical style but which isn't as overused.

You know... I think that the theme that Alex Riley uses now might have worked well for Bryan.
As for what to do with the current theme... it simply needs some kind of opening hook to pop for, be it the extended intro, pyro or some kind of soundbite.

Easy.
Play it louder, darken the lights and put some spectacular pyro.

How about Beethoven 5th symphony? Or Flight of the Bumblebee?

I liked his return theme at Summerslam.
Partly because it reminded me of Chris... Bob Holly.

He should ride a zip-line wearing a viking helmet with a battle axe to the ring. YES.

Theme is one thing. No matter how much Cole sucks, him burying Daniel on the mic every week makes it impossible to make him. He has to destroy Cole to really get over. I also don't understand how Cole, a fat and flubby commentator, can call Bryan a nerd just because he doesn't own a tv. Cheap, nonsensical heat ftw, I guess.

It's better suited for a heel, in my opinion.

I love it and he should definitely keep it. So much more distinctive than your average WWE theme.

Start callin him The American Dragon and give him Ricky The Dragon Steamboats old theme... done. Besdies Jake The Snake Roberts original theme, Ricky's is one of the best ever.

I'm going to maintain that the best gimmick ever for Daniel Bryan would be to repackage him as The Dan, a take off of The Dude from The Big Lebowski. Get JBL in to be his Walt and, I don't know, throw Evan Bourne in as Donnie. He can feud with wrestlers over them stealing his rug and can come out to Kenny Rogers And The First Edition.
To EWR I go!
