Now, I do like Ride of the Valkyries, and I've tried hard to like it as D-Bryans theme... but it just doesn't work. Makes him seem like a bit of a joke and never gets a pop.
Maybe if he had a huge entrance with lights dimming and a big ass ring-jacket and pyros, it might do the trick, but as it stands - I much prefer the short-lived Burnout Paradise - The Rage song he used briefly in the WWE.

I like it, too. I think it suits him in a weird way.

I think it's the best part of his act, really. Evokes Savage and Flair for me, and feels a lot more epic than the generic rock tracks that most of the roster has used for the last decade.

I don't know if I haven't seen a show where he uses it, but I think it would be better suited for him to use, y'know...the entire song. The building strings, to get people riled up and so on.

I like it for him, but they need to make it bigger. With a song like that, he needs a flashy ring robe and he needs some pyro and lighting. He also needs to come out a lot slower than he does. Wagner should make him sound important and it should get a pop. He never gets a big initial pop. He gets match pops and he does get pops when he gets the three, so he's over, but his entrance needs to be a big f***ing deal.

He should ride a zip-line wearing a viking helmet with a battle axe to the ring.

He needs a new theme. Something more contemporary that can get the crowd enthusiastic.

He should ride a zip-line wearing a viking helmet with a battle axe to the ring. Yes, every week!

I like it, too. I think it suits him in a weird way. I think it suits him in the same way that Pomp and Circumstance came to define Savage. Savage was an intense and flamboyant wrestler but had this slow, but grandoise early 20th century song play for him. Wagners piece for Bryan seems to agree that Bryan is old fashioned (or maybe even schorlarly); he doesn't own a tv, comes out and puts on a rather wrassling-esque style, as well his entrance theme is loud music -- for the mid 18th century thats a tribute to Norse Warriors (albeit female warriors).

There've been plenty of successful wrestlers with lousy entrance themes. And I honestly don't think DB's is all that bad outside of reminding me of Elmer Fudd in a viking hat.

The theme is great for him. They just need to emphasize it visually. A spotlight and a more dramatic entrance will do the trick. Give him something like the King Booker or Chris Masters style pyro for added effect.

They literally need to just play it louder.

They should use Final Countdown as his theme.

Needs a red and white pyro explosion, THEN the theme. That'd be f***ing great.

They need to play the whole thing, from the beginning. With the bass on blast and the volume turned up to eleven:

I still think an intro would do wonders for his theme, like a Dragon's roar or bring back "Tap or Snap" as a catchphrase.

I agree with those that said that they need to play it from the beginning of the song. Those initial strings could conceivably create enough tension for a pop. I also think they could rock it up a bit with a crunchy guitar or gong in the background emphasizing the chords. I'm sure Jim Johnston could think of something cool to do with it.
However, I also think that they could make a brand new theme for Bryan, Johnston penned, because since Bryan is kind of a retro superstar in a sense, he should get a classic sounding theme like Beth.
Also a sidenote to lewis1711, I feel like that with my posts all the time.

Theme is one thing. No matter how much Cole sucks, him burying Daniel on the mic every week makes it impossible to make him. He has to destroy Cole to really get over.
