Taker could not have buried Punk because Taker is the icon of truth, justice, and locker room perfection. If someone buried Punk, it must've been someone with a reputation for it. I'm sure we can pin it on Hogan or HHH, if we just give it a little more effort.

Come on, man. What is this, a witch hunt looking for all enemies of Punk and burning them at the stake? yes

I don't think that's really Takers fault, if true, more someone told him to say something to Punk, and he reported back

If Punk hadn't been able to rebound from losing clean to THE UNDERTAKER (and he unquestionably has, so the point is irrelevant), then he wouldn't deserve to be anywhere near the main event scene anyway.

I liked the Punk suit story, it seemed like the logical continuation to the taped wrists tony atlas story

I was more troubled by the fact that Punk lost his first world championship due to Randy Orton, and never had a program with Orton until 2011. And he was imediatley put intom a tag team with Kofi and won the tag belts. That was weird. Its not like Punk or Orton were injured at the time.
I know him and Kofi had a mini feud with Ted & Cody (And they did start the attack that ended with the Orton Punt) But it still does'nt make sense that he had no program with orton or much of a shot at getting the title he never lost.

I hate to say this but there are certain guys on the roster that are the kiss of death when it comes to feuding with them. Taker is of course one of them, although not so much as guys like Big Show and Kane (who are booked similarly but not as good). Though Show at least put Mark Henry over clean at the PPV, so maybe the monster booking of Big Show is subsiding a bit. It's a special category of big men: "Guys who can't really be put over anymore, but are monsters that can't put anyone else over."
But did Taker bury Punk? I don't really see it. Given the storyline they were doing Punk was going to end up jobbing to Taker at some point, because HBK kept calling out Taker and at the end of the day the only way he could goad him into a WM rematch was to screw him out of the world title.
There really wasn't much SD could do with Punk as champ after Hardy left the company. His entire main event push was based on his straight edge character vs. the drugged out Jeff.

No, however I expect the dress code thing is true, I’m sure Punk (or maybe Colt) has mentioned it recently.

I love how it clearly states Punk was asked nicely, key word there, nicely, to dress better as the champion, which is hardly a big deal, and his own attitude then got him in trouble.
It then continues, and in no way states Undertaker went telling tales, or that he pushed for the title or anything else, just that word got back and some writers took offence to the attitude Punk showed.
It's hilarious to see the spin people can see things with when it's Punk involved.
