Well, if John Cena isn't around, I guess we'll always use his non-union Mexican equivalent.

Technically Cena isn't fired until Vince says the words... Which we will probably get tomorrow, Vince calling him out. We'll see how it goes.

As I've said earlier, Punk will bring Cena back as a part of re-negotiated contract with Vince (and as thanks - he likes Cena, he said so - and he did the right thing tonight in the match) so I don't see him away for too long. Plus, it'll put Punk over too uf they're turning him slightly more face.

of course he's fired. And by fired, I mean he's the holder of the brand new WWE title belt which McMahon will give him at 11:59pm.

Given that news about Cena being banged up, I'd use this as an opportunity to let him rest. Also, keep the title out of Rock / Cena - it just drags the match down if anything due to making the winner even more obvious, it deprives the show of what would be another selling point otherwise, and really, Cena's above the title at this point.
As for Cena being out, I'd bring back Triple H for awhile, turn Miz (come on, the guy is ready), and try to move up Kofi.

I just hope that Cena being fired means he'll take time off, not appear backstage or come out of the crowd attacking someone like he did last November/December.

I'm thinking he's getting the time off to heal. It's the only reason I thought Punk had a chance last night. I imagine Punk is going to be sticking around and it wouldn't surprise me if HHH makes a return to fill the void Cena's leaving.

That's what I was thinking. I know he said he wasn't coming back til probably Survivor Series...but surely he almost needs to show up now.

In the wake of CM Punk winning the WWE title, Christian winning the World Title, and Daniel Bryan winning MITB, there's one other thing. John Cena is about to be fired. Do we officially declare this the greatest night in the history of the Internet Wrestling Community? indeed. And just to give us something else we want. Juan Cena will be on TV!!

I assume after tomorrow, Cena is going to take some time off before returning, possibly via Rock help.
Rock won't get injured by Wrestlemania so now they've just gotta keep Cena fit. And he can't get injured if he doesn't wrestle.

Juan Cena 2: Electric Thugaloo Juan might have impressed the WWE brass enough with his house show run last, that they want to bring him up to the main roster. The Observer says he's being sent to FCW to learn how to work.
