I would too, even though I'd like to see Claudio and Hero debut on their own merit. However a thought occurred to me last night after taking in MITB. Since Vince swerved the internet last night by teasing the screwjob, I think it would be kind of cool if he swerved us again. Instead of giving us an ROH invasion, he "pays" indie guys to take out Punk, culminating in the introduction of Hero and Claudio who act as bounty hunters. Their missions become to find Punk on the independants and beat him down, bringing him back to a WWE event so Vince can stage an impromptu match for Punk to lose.
It would be a way to debut Hero and Claudio (aligning them with the one of the most over heel characters ever) and would in a sense give the internet a "Punk defends the WWE title on the indies" angle. They could reason that guys like Hero and Claudio wanted the chance Punk got, and are bitter that Punk can just waltz back onto their turf whenever he wants.
I think this would be more interesting than a plain "ROH invasion." I don't even think WWE even needs to acknowledge an actual indie. They could even make one up and "stage" an independent show, where Punk would defend the WWE title. Claudio and Hero find him and beat him down in a back alley and say that they'll be on RAW next week, and they'll have Punk with them.

That would actually be a better idea, just because it doesn't involve them all dismissing the WWE roster, while also allowing them to stand on their own feet.

I like the idea of Punk defending the title in RoH leading to Vince declaring war on the indies (and maybe NJPW), they can even use the real history of Vince putting the territories out of business. Well it’s another way to avoid the typical invasion anyway.

Thing is, WWE's got a pretty decent stock of "indy name" talent on hand. Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Xavier Woods if you count him, and hopefully, in the VERY near future, Colt, Claudio, and Hero. That's more than enough guys to sell this feud and IMPLY ROH and the indies, without actually having to use them.

I'd like to see Punk lured into a defense on RAW like a character in a cartoon setting a trap with a box, a string, a twig and a steak.
Have him get picked up from the bus station by Claudio and Hero, and driven by a confusing route to a nondescript 'gym' for an indie show. Punk spends the whole show in a dressing room, and then walks through the building to the ring. However, when he gets there, it is just a tiny room draped with curtains. He enters the ring, the bell sounds, and then the entire facade lifts away, to reveal that Vince has just lured him into Madison Square, and it was all an elaborate set.

In another thread a week or so ago, I suggested that they just use FCW, but take down all the WWE banners that are in the FCW arena. Give it a generic indy name and pretend it's some random league somewhere in the US. All those guys are essentially indie names on their roster. Get Claudio and Hero in there, and you can use them as indie bounty hunters on Vince's payroll.
