No one said its a crime, but its common knowledge that there is a stigma carried with being a woman who sleeps around. She knows it, and apparently orton does. The only reason there is a "stigma" at all is because of people like you and orton stigmatizing her. Her sex life is nobody else's business, and Orton had no business blabbing it out for the world to hear, no matter what his personal thoughts on it were. I don't care if she has slept with every one of the guys in the back, personally services Vince twice on Sundays, and used the faucet of the sink she peed in to pleasure herself. As long as she's enjoying it, more power to her. She's a mature adult. She's got a slamming body, and spends 300 days of the year with a few dozen (generally) very attractive men. She's earned the right to have all the casual sex she wants, and unless she's screwing married men, enjoying lots of casual sex does not make her a slut. Look at it this way.....If you were young, single, attractive, and spent 5/6 of the year with a few dozen incredibly hot women who want to screw you, how would you be spending your nights? I don't think you understand the point I'm trying to make. Kelly kelly could bone Rudolf for all I care. The point I'm trying to make is that what KK is doing is seen by the general public as a negative. It's not her fault, but that's the way it is, which is probably why orton brought it up, for ****s and giggles.

And yet, guys who are completely polite and non-offensive in interviews get stuck losing to this guy every week. On another note, this is real hypocrisy. No one ever badmouths CM Punk Batista for banging every Diva under the sun. Why can't a girl screw everyone too? Because we live in a Chauvinistic, male-dominant Western civilization that's so screwed up when it comes to sex we have about a hundred different opinions on everything? Seriously, you're not supposed to have sex before marriage, but if you don't you're looked at funny. If a guy cheats on a girl, his mistress gets just as much (sometimes more) crap than the guy who actually cheated. You are completely mistaken on the last point. All infidelity in our society is blamed on male perfidy. Remember the four women who glued a guy's junk to his chest? They walked without a day of jail, and the judge basically said "Yeah, if the genders were reversed, there would have been jail time, but he was cheating, so he brought it on himself". Remember Steve McNair? He had it coming. Remember Tiger Woods? He had it coming. And so on I definitely agree that the slut/stud dichotomy is a big flaming crock. It doesn't always work against women, however. See which, any case where a middle aged woman commits statutory rape and gets off with three minutes of community service.

Man, Orton shouldn't have said those things. It's just so wrong to do that to a colleague, no matter if it is true or not. But, I do suppose if you do that kind of stuff, there are always people who are going to flame you for it. I'm not a fan at all of K2, but I do really feel for her here.

I'm sorry, you just don't. You deserve all the other embarrassment/loss of property from divorce/looked down upon as an adulterer/whatever the hell else, but that's a tad bit extreme.

Has Orton ever called out Batista for sleeping around, just out of curiosity? Or does he only feel confident enough to say it when he's saying it about someone smaller than him?

I don't think Pope was condoning what happened. But facts are facts, and in many ways, women can get away with things men can't. Yes, there is the slut/stud dichotomy, that's true. But, there's also a lot of defense for Draconian "retribution" from scorned women; a recent of such cases being a woman who cut off her boyfriend's junk and fed it to a garbage disposal because they were having a spat. I know it's wrong, you know it's wrong, and he knows it's wrong. But there are those out there who, for some convoluted reason, see that, the Bobbit case, and yes, the McNair case, as some sort of victory for women-kind.

I admit, I did give a little fist-pump while watching the movie Battle Royale, when spunky runner-girl turned the tables on her would-be rapist and, via impromptu castration, ensured that he wouldn't be raping anyone again. My guy friend watching with me was horrified at my satisfaction, but hey, it's a horror movie, and he was trying to rape her. Cry me a river.
That said, real-life deeds like the ones Pope listed are horrendous and should be punished as such. There's no feminist philosophy in any of that, any more than it's a victory for men when a man kills a woman who's been cheating on him. It's crazy people doing violent things.

I think it was bad form what Orton did. I won't vilify him, but he ought to make things right by her. It was wrong when it was said about Melina, it's wrong now.

Anybody else get the Cell Block Tango from Chicago pop into their head all of a sudden? no, but now i do. and i think Orton should be the last person to comment about who's dipping into the peanut butter when by all accounts he's had his fair share spread on some bread himself.

This, have you ever had someone say bad crap about you in a workplace? It doesn't matter if it's true it can piss you off/upset you in that enviroment. I dislike Kelly too (for being a crap wrestler, not anything else), but Rorton has proven multiple tmies he's an utter dick in official interviews. . No, no, no. Didn't you get the memo. That interview was "funny". Because it was "funny" all can be forgiven. He can be as big of a dick as he wants to be, just so long as it makes me laugh. Fixed

I'm assuming this was before he got married and had a daughter.
At least, I'm hoping so.
