When the hell did we get midcard feuds that meant a shit? I'm loving Riley vs. Miz. They're actually pushing a young talent by having him go over an established member of the roster, and it's legitimately refreshing.
Mark Henry is a god damn MONSTER. Why didn't they do this 8 years ago? I just don't understand.
Without even going into the amazingness that is the Main Event scene right now, when did we get so lucky? When did the WWE decide to put forth a product that actually has me entertained and at the edge of my seat? It's incredible.
I don't know if they're starting to listen to crowds, or if they put a finger on the pulse of the fans online. I don't know what it is, but I'm actually chomping at the bit to buy a PPV for the first time since the Attitude Era. It's that incredible.
The direction has been great, and I'm excited about wrestling right now. Haha.

I respect your positivity, but when it comes to the WWE, always avoid high expectations.

I haven't bought a Pay Per View since last year's WrestleMania, and the current booking's got me wanting to get Money in the Bank.
So kudos to ya, WWE. Please, please, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE don't f*** it up. Please?

Is Heyman back? Seriously, Vince and Co. are doing an outstanding job and wrestling is FUN again. I actually think RTruth may win MITB and beat Punk for the WWE title. How f'n crazy would that idea have been a year ago?

I've noticed it too. I remember reading that WWE had signed a new writer not too long ago also. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're asking for more input from the wrestlers.
Maybe HHH is pitching more ideas? Who knows? For at least this week, it's a good time to be a fan. We'll see what next week holds.

I respect your positivity, but when it comes to the WWE, always avoid high expectations. That's fair, but it just feels different this time. I'm pretty hard to disappoint generally. Like, my expectations are always really rock bottom. But this feud, for whatever reason, FEELS revolutionary. And I'll take that at this stage in the game.

Helps they split up the Orton Cena show and with alot of the old reliable superstars retiring or just leaving about time they did so.

I'm not easy to disappoint because I'm generally entertained by crap as much as stuff that is actually good, but WWE has been really good so far this summer. Further, it feels like things have been shaken up in a way that feels fresh to me. It's nice!

WWE has me def watching more,RAW has been exciting but only due to CM Punk and the possibility that Ryder may or might not be on tv and on Smackdown has been really great.

Yeah, Raw's been great these last few weeks. Now only if Smackdown would start following suit. They got the wrestling part down, they just need to add some interesting storylines.

Are you guys kidding me? The midcard scene is still crap. Riley and Miz have already faced each other what, 3 times? And having someone as new as riley go over a former world champion who never got a convincing win and draws huge reactions is just a poor idea.
They're doing next to nothing with Ziggler or Swagger, two of the biggest talents on RAW - oh except jobbing to the big show because he really needs that in this stage in his career. Their tag team champions are a joke who just lost a handicap match against super-cena. R-Truth is back down in midcard hell and becoming a comedy character, Ryder is again nowhere to be found, Kofi is the black version of plain vanilla, Evan Bourne has no character or real gimmick, the anonymous GM is still going on despite being way passed its use-by date.
The only thing saving it is CM Punk, one of the few people I actually enjoy hearing a 10 minute promo from, or indeed a promo at all. But even then they drag it on just a bit too long.
RAW is still garbage.

RAW is still garbage. I'm not going to fight you on it, but Swagger is in Money in the Bank, and did a pretty decent job coming off as a threat tonight. And whether you like it or not, Miz is a top heel. Riley going over him is getting him over faster than any new talent on the roster recently. What they're doing with him is working.

I've always had confidence that when everyone in the WWE family (workers, commentators, camera men, etc) are doing the best work they can, WWE is truly beautiful to watch.
This angle has so much potential, and hopefully the buzz that has been encompassing it is enough to convince "Creative" to stick with the ballsy approach.
I don't care if they get .01 ratings or 10.0 for shows like tonight, because if the WWE as a team made every storyline nearly as compelling as this for every show, all the time, I don't think I'd ever come on this board again except to occasionally express my pure joy.
Something CM Punk said tonight reminded me of something that Shawn Michaels said in a shoot a while back. Before starting up DX, Michaels came up to Vince and told him, "I'm younger and I know what's hip. I know what these people want. Do you think you can say better than me what these people want?" I'm paraphrasing of course, but Punk said something very similar to Vince's face tonight, and perhaps it is a sign that finally Vince is ready to let the tiger out and see where it takes him.
Honestly, there's very little to lose. WWE has enough of a core fanbase that will watch no matter what. If this rocket that they've attached to Punk proves successful, they only stand to gain from it.

I understand that feeling, because I felt the exact same thing after The Nexus debuted. It was FANTASTIC for a short while, but then WWE killed it in typical WWE fashion. Ever since they f***ed THAT up, I learned my lesson. I'm really hoping for the best this time, believe me, but I'm not going to get too excited until I see that they actually pull the trigger.

Please, please, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE don't f*** it up. Please? i recall us saying this after a certain ending to Raw in June '10 it's like in the summer they hit a nice stride and find good feuds and a hot main event angle to work with. let's all meet up in October and discuss this.
