www.bloomberg.com/video/71724446/Its about 20 minutes. Lots of business stuff they go through, the upcoming TV network, the "wrestling/entertainment" stuff, Steph and Triple H and Triple H scouting talent like Sin Cara, etc. Of course a little shot of Steph trying out Trips' Wrestlemania mask. One thing Vince stresses is that every thing about WWE is spun out of live events. He really hammers home how integral they are. Oh, and Benoit is brought up.

Triple H must really love Sin Cara. When Interviewers are asking you about him, its got to be common knowledge that thats "Your guy"

"We don't consider ourselves wrestling uh....but these characters we create resolve their differences uh....in a physical uh type way"
;D
If I was an investor, I'd be seriously concerned if the business that wants me to invest in them seems to have a pathological obsession with denying what their core product is.
It would be like Pizza Hut telling investors "we don't sell pizzas, we sell a global product consisting of an oven-baked, flat, disc-shaped bread with various toppings"
The investor would think "are these people insane?"

Good: Alberto Del Rio
Evil: The Undertaker
Also I don't think Pro Wrestling was ever considered vaudeville

Well, Vince confirms what we've suspected all along; he'd rather die than ever give up his position in the company.

what match was it they keep showing, where miz has john morrison in the inverse DDT position, goes to a backbreaker type thing, and then does a neckbreaker off the rebound?
That has to be one of the coolest sequences of moves I've ever seen the Miz do (made possible by JoMo's amazing abs, no doubt).

"Part rock concert, part soap opera, part cirque du soleil...." That's a little disturbing. I guess the days of athletes like Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle in the main event are well and truly over I wish wrestling was more about wrestling

I only saw the first part of the interview on noDQ earlier and I felt like the Hunter/Steph portion was kind of hard to watch. The interviewer was really wooden at times and Steph and Hunter looked like they felt it was going to be a more relaxed setting.
I'll have to watch the Vince part, but from reading what people are saying I would really like to see a very shrewd ballsy interviewer one day try to get Vince to admit that WWE is still a wrestling company. Just grill him til there are no euphemisms for wrestling left.

That could describe just about any era in WWF/E. They all were great athletes, but he's talking about the actual live event. You have crazy athletic stuff going on, fireworks, loud music, rowdy crowds, over the top storylines. If anything he described what a WWE event is like perfectly. It's not like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels wrestled in smokey halls in black tights, trading holds for 6 hours.
