They're "so opposed to it" yet mentioning the word on TV is apparently a big deal, even when it happens every week.
Who doesn't know what they're doing?

The interviewer was kind of terrible. Yeah, saying UFC is a competitor, when Vince said the obvious that UFC is a sport and WWE is entertainment.

I still fail to see why it bothers people what Vince calls his company? Because it IS wrestling. And it hurts them more then help when they do stupid stuff like trying to get a news report of Wrestlemania to change the headline from Wrestling to Sports Entertainment. Because all that did was get the article taken down altogether and bam went that bit of exposure.

For all the talk about how bad the booking has been lately, the McMahon interviews seem infinitely more intelligent than Bischoff's or Hogan's.

I like how Steph had to talk for Hunter sometimes. Triple H is relatively "new" to his position, so I understand, but he should be producing great things for WWE in the next 5 years, no doubt.

I was thinking more her apparent suprise that WWE would market the skull mask or at how long it takes to get a TV network off the ground. 1. WWE sells replica everything, 5 seconds of research into their merch should have gotten that across 2. TV Channels are not simple things
things like that. It also felt like she let them control the message more than she have. I don't know maybe she had no clue who here audience was going to be and so didn't know how to pitch it right. Still knowing your subject and your audience are like interviewing 101. Just not impressed.

I'll listen extra carefully then, in order to confirm it. If it's not every week it's close to it. They do often say "wrestling" several times a show in fact. It's easier to notice when you're in wrestling chats since it only takes one person pointing it out...they do it regularly though.

It's wrong that I find this adorable isn't it? x Probably because it's so huge on her head. Comes off like a child trying on her dad's mask or something. Steph's going to a RenFest!

Despite all of the talk about diversifying the business, I think, IMHO, Vince shies away from the "w" word because despite pro wrestling's rich history and sucess, it is still thought of low-brow. The stereotypes about wrestlers and , especially, their audience are still prevalent. Whether that contributes to the controlled breaking of kayfabe or not, is up for debate.
Vince had a vision for WWF/E and was driven enough to accomplish that, eliminating his competition along the way and changing the face of pro wrestling. In a capitalistic society, that makes Vince a conquering hero. Like others, I do wish he wouldn't shy away from the "w" word. SportsEntertainmentMania is quite the mouthful.

Speaking of Steph, is she pregnant again? She sporting a large stomach. if she is, then those two need to keep it in their pants lol. If you had the chance to have sex with Stephanie McMahon, would you turn it down?

Well, now we know what Friday nights are like at the McMahon-Levesque household. Well it's not like they'd watch Smackdown or anything.

No wonder they only showed that skull mask briefly and in shadow at WrestleMania. It looked stupid enough then, but seeing the thing in full like that I'm getting Mortal Kombat: Annihilation flashbacks.
