I assume by "your top ten" you mean favorites? I can't do it in order, but here's mine:
Christian Chris Jericho Shawn Michaels Randy Orton Lita John Cena (not anymore...) Matt Hardy (not really anymore...) Trish Stratus Chris Benoit Ric Flair

I think these seven would be in the top ten of WWE (in no particular order) Hogan Austin John Cena The Rock Bruno Sammartino The Undertaker Shawn Michaels
The final three spots in the top ten would come from this list:
Bret Hart Randy Savage Roddy Piper Andre the Giant Triple H

A lot of people here confuse top 10 with favorite 10. There's a difference between who you like, and who can be recognized as the greatest. For example, Jericho is my favorite wrestler, but I would hesitate to put him in my top 10. I'll give both of my lists later, right now I don't have the time. I think it can be whatever criteria you want really. No it can't. There must be some sort of set criteria before you start listing things. Otherwise your just typing in names and numbers with no rhyme or reason.

"Your Top 10"
That's the title of the thread. So, I interpret it as "my top ten", with no indication of whether "greatest" or "favorite" is specified. Seems like a top 10 favorites list should be fair, to me.

There's so many guys I can think of to fill out 6-10 that I like on about the same level that I can't really rank them above one another or decide who to leave out, so I'll stick to my top five.
5. Rey Mysterio 4. The Great Muta 3. Kevin Nash 2. & 1. Undertaker and Shawn Michaels

Zack Ryder is in your top 10 of all time? That is an.................. interesting list. Rikishi was the one that struck me as interesting. Not that I didn't like 'Kish, I just don't think I've ever seen him in someone's top 10.

I'd put my top 10, but you can all guess who would fill 9 of the 10 slots.
1 would be Bret Hart BTW.

10. CM Punk.....his career is not over....he could end up being higher in the end. The most brilliant wrestling mind in the body of a wrestler since Mick Foley, in that he definitely sees the artistic side of sports entertainment. His promo from last Monday is a perfect example of that.
9. Raven......LOVED the character, particularly his ECW, WCW, and TNA runs.....once again, an artistic mind who was able to transform his character into something all his own, heel or face. His feuds with Tommy Dreamer/Sandman were prime examples of his brilliance.
8. Randy Savage.....also a great mind. His promos were mind boggling, his ring work (at least until the late 90s) was always solid, and just.....his presence always stood out, and I have to admit....I was secretly rooting for Macho against Hogan in 89, and I was a SUPER mark child at the time. Just always dug "The Macho Man."
7. HBK.....the ultimate Total Package......I mean, the guy had a great career....went away for 4 years.....and came back even better. What else can you say about the guy, whether you like his personality, whatever.....and yes, I am a Bret fan also, but he would probably be #11 or #12 for me.
6. Chris Benoit.....He used to be much higher, but considering the work Angle has done since leaving WWE (which considering how bad TNA was at times, his ring work was almost always GREAT), and well.....you know, Benoit drops a bit. However, he was probably one of the best in ring workers of at least this modern (85-Present) era. Still a fan of the wrestler, if not the man.
5. The Rock......Yes, he became stale at times, but never let it be said that Dwayne Johnson isn't at least watchable at ALL times. The dude had charisma that just LEPT off the screen, and he was able to hold his own with a variety of guys in the ring. Worth the money WWE is throwing at him currently, IMO.
4. Ric Flair......"The Man".....and the greatest example of a Heel Champion EVER. His interviews were almost always kick a**, and he backed every word up in the ring. Always a fan of Flair's, even now, as he is embarrassing himself in TNA. He STILL manages to be entertaining.
3. Kurt Angle.....We've all seen his work.....he's currently reaching that Past His Prime point, but he's STILL better than 75% of the roster, both in and out of the ring. He's been the ROCK of TNA for the past 4+ years, always managing to bring it in the ring, despite the stupid storylines he had to participate in. He's great.....nothing more needs to be said.
2. Steve Austin.....I mean, the guy is one of "The Gods" in WWE, right up there with Hogan, and surpassed him in some ways. He almost single handedly changed WWE with one promo (the way we hope Punk's recent promo does)......it led to everything changing to fit him. He's the man, and rightfully so.
1. Roddy Piper......I just always loved the guy.....the character, the wrestler.....he was almost like a force of nature, and has become WWE's conscience of sorts. He was a game changer in any era he wrestled in, and a ground breaker with his promos. Every era needs a Roddy Piper, and hopefully, every era will have one.
