A Pizza eating contest made it to a Pay-Per-View?

This was quite the underrated PPV, a miracle with the devastating injury to Cena just 6 days before.

It was an awesome PPV because of the WWE Title storyline, imo.
But if the original main event stayed and Orton would've beat Cena in a last man standing match? Would have been a great match had it happened.

Would have been a great match had it happened. I wish Vince in the opening promo stuck it to Triple H and said that the match with him and Umaga would be a #1 contender's match. THAT would have made this PPV better IMO.

That would've been better then "Triple H beats Umaga clean, continue the feud anyway"

Loved this show. Rad WWE Title storyline made this show feel fresh and different, even if it was still just Orton and Triple H stuff.

HHH wrestled three matches that night and looked great in all of them.

The Orton HHH LMS Match on this show is their best match together imo and in Orton's top 10 ever I feel. This PPV was one of the better one's of 2007 no doubt.

Outside of the pizza eating contest (which dragged on for what felt like an eternity), I really dug this show. Both HHH/Orton matches were good, HHH/Umaga was decent, Batista/Khali was better than expected, Mysterio/Finlay was great, 6-Man Tag was fantastic, Candice/Phoenix was fine and Punk/V could have went longer.
Overall, much better than expected.

That was a great PPV. WWE title played a great role. I did like Orton-HHH-Orton title switches.
