Let's play a game: pick any storyline / angle in WWE's long history and describe how it would really go down if it really happened in real life. I'll get the ball rolling, with the multiple deaths of Vince (stage rigging accident, car explosion, etc):
• The cameras would instantly cut off as soon as the event took place, perhaps even beforehand (I'm uncertain about the mechanics of live television here, and whether RAW is recorded with a slight delay). • Huge news shitstorm. McMahon's death would be the main news story for days, perhaps even weeks with the ensuing investigation to find the one responsible. • WWE could even cease operation altogether if the corporate side doesn't recover efficiently enough.

Triple H accuses Kane of necrophilia. In turn Kane files a lawsuit for slander and takes Triple H for everything he and Stephanie are worth. Years later the WWE is owned by Kane who books everyone in a bunch of sadistic matches that go as far as possible without being illegal. Then he gets tired of the job after a few years and torches the place before returning to his previous occupation as a second rate dentist.

The Matt/Edge angle from 2005. 1) Matt wouldn't not be allowed back in the company. In fact, security would be told to keep a lookout for him. 2) Matt may have very well sued WWE for having him fired on top of his girlfriend leaving him. 3) Lita (and maybe Edge) would have taken a restraining order against him. 4) Matt inevitably violates restraining order. 5) Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore, and the rest of the crew inevitably get involved, as does Christian in Edge's corner. 6) It doesn't end well.

Stone Cold Steve Austin gets in the ring with Mike Tyson, and gets in his face. Austin proceeds to flip him the bird, call him a SOB and the like. Tyson hits Austin with an upper cut followed by a left hook to the jaw. Austin is never heard from again.

Randy Orton would be in a mental hospital right now or an asylum, not a WWE ring.

I'm trying to think what.
Breaking and entering. Destruction of property. (the watch) Harassment. (Big Show's mom) Dog Murder. I don't know what feeding someone their dog is, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Casket theft. Speeding in a cemetary. Abuse of a dead body. etc.

Orton kicks Vince McMahon in the head. He is fired. He tries to claim a right to the Wrestlemania Main Event due to the Rumble win, but his WWE Contracts says he can be fired at any time, no matter what. He is also tried on assault charges and receives 6 years in jail with 3 years before parole. He is also forced into a mental rehabilitation program for his "IED".

Rikishi would be in prison for attempted murder if he really ran over "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

The Nexus try to interrupt a match between John Cena and CM Punk, but they stick out like sore thumbs due to their wearing ring attire and are thrown out of the building.

Edge kidnaps Paul Bearer, is found and arrested by the authorities, charged with kidnapping and serves eight years in jail. The best part about that storyline is that it started during the UK Smackdown, meaning that Edge had to somehow smuggle a fat guy restrained against his will to a wheelchair OVER THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.
