It's a nice article, but I think the Masked Man is a little delusional. I don't see there being a sea change in WWE. There's too much at stake for the company to completely shift directions. Back in the attitude era, Vince was desperate and his company wasn't the financial behemoth is today.
Times have changed. WWE is publicly traded and has to answer to shareholders. In addition it is trying to enter the events market as well as stay viable in Hollywood. As much as I'm enjoying the CM Punk storyline, I just don't see the E completely changing direction.

Great article. I'm really curious where the company is gonna be when the Royal Rumble comes around. I'm not one of those guys who dwells on WWE bringing back the Attitude era but I think WWE really needs a mission statement and a re-establishment of what their product is. I really dig the concept Punk brought up with the "reality era". Though as the article says, CM Punk the last two months might have been a lightning in the bottle situation where in January will be a distant memory. I think they're still in a between stage where you can't declare it dead but it does look like shades of WWE as we knew it is creeping up. One strong development in the Punk/Cena/Triple H saga though and things can get hot in a flash.
