Rockers v. Twin Towers
Rude v. Roberts was pretty good despite it being a draw.

Couldn't agree more on Steiners vs. Headshrinkers! On the other hand Rude vs. Roberts is only underrated if you are talking about ways to cure insomnia. Both guys are great, but that match...yikes!

I've always liked Mr. Perfect vs The Blue Blazer, Tito Santana vs the Barbarian, and the Rockers vs Barbarian/Haku.

wm 4 steamboat vs hammer. good match no? That was the first thing I thought of when I clicked this thread. I watched WM4 recently and forgot how good that match was.

I don't think Steiners Vs HeadShrinkers has ever been underrated, everybody always raves about that match. Its just it was stuck on a crappy mania.

the problem with Haku/Hercules is that it had the exact same finish as the Hercules/Warrior match from the year prior. boy did Herc love that finish.

Beefcake/Perfect WM6 was one of my favorite matches as a kid. Haven't seen it since so don't know if it still holds up.

Let me see....
WM 2 - British Bulldogs v Dream Team WM 2 - Battle Royal WM 3 - British Bulldogs and Tito Santana v Hart Foundation and Danny Davis WM 4 - Honky Tonk Man v Brutus the Barber Beefcake WM 5 - Demolition v Powers of Pain and Mr Fuji WM 5 - Twin Towers v Rockers WM 6 - Rockers v Orient Express WM 6 - Demolition v Colossal Connection WM 7 - Rockers v Haku and the Barbarian WM 8 - Jake Roberts v Undertaker WM 8 - Bret Hart v Rowdy Roddy Piper (not heralded enough) WM 9 - Doink v Crush WM 10 - MOM v Quebecers
All nice little matches - apart form Bret Hart v Piper which I regard as a classic but is never heralded as such.

Rockers/Twin Towers is one of my favorite "obscure" matches. Classic big team vs. little team tag match with an ending I thought was really cool when I was a kid (Bossman counters with a powerbomb and Akeem hits the splash at the end). Also Rockers/Barbarian-Haku. Same type of tag match, with power against speed, it worked really well.

I don't remember if it they were any good, but I remember really liking JYD/Harley Race and Bad News Brown/Hacksaw when I was a kid. Probably has more to do with the fact that I liked all 4 guys than match quality though.

I thought the U.S. Express(Windham and Rotundo) vs the Iron Sheik/Volkoff was a pretty good match at WM 1, haven't seen it in a while though.

Wrestlemania 9: Bob Backlund vs. Razor Ramon. This was a nice little match, only very short. I would have liked to see what they could have done given more time.

WM - None that I can think of
WM 2- Tito Santana & JYD vs The Funks- A great tag match that gets lost with all the Bulldog love and general WM 2 hate.
WM III- Piper vs Adonis- If not for the main event this would have been the sports entertainment moment of show. Piper's face pop after winning and "retiring" was pretty special
WM IV- Steamboat vs Valentine- For a short match (obviously created by the show format) this was a pretty good match with two very good workers. Valentine never really clicked in WWF they way he had iin NWA, which was a shame.
WM V- Again I can't really think of anything that was underrated. I supposed Blazer vs Piper is the closet thing. This was a pretty bad show other than the main event.
WM VI- Dusty Rhodes & Sapphire vs Randy Savage & Sherri- A good mixed match that advanced the Rhodes/ Macho King angle and also advanced the slow build Randy/Liz reunion
WM VII- Rockers vs Haku & The Barbarian- The Rockers were really clicking right before the break up. Some beautiful double team stuff in this match really got the crowd going. WM VII is a pretty underrated card in my opinion.
WM VIII- Undertaker vs Roberts- Not underrated because it was that good, because it was a squash. However Roberts pre-match heel promo and the fact that it got Undertaker mega-over as a face made it special.
WM IX- Tatanka vs Shawn Michaels- A nice opener where Michaels does some crazy bumping and carries Tatanka through a really good match. The problem was that the HBK character hadn't really been tweaked to the point where it was when he got over-over in a year or so after. That and the fact that WWF didn't want to end the Tatanka streak but didn't want him to win the IC title either. So we got a cop out ending that help set up a lame show.
WM X- Savage vs Crush- Macho Man's last great WWF moment. RIP to both of them.
