What was the deal with WCW playing Konnan's music video about 3 times per show for a while?
It sucked hard.

That can be said about Konnan in general.

The only thing I remember about those music videos is when Disco Inferno started inserting himself into them.

The Konnan videos were great, solely for Disco Inferno's version of it. "Yo yo yo let me speak on this, oil of olay all day everyday."

The only thing I remember about those music videos is when Disco Inferno started inserting himself into them. That, right there, was priceless. I was busting up when I first saw that. He had two music videos, didn't he? I also think he might have had his first one debut at Halloween Havoc, didn't he? Or maybe it was on Nitro, I don't know. I think Rey Mysterio used Konnan's first song (His rap song, I mean) as his theme music after he was unmasked, when before, he had some other rap song as his theme music.

Man, I hated Konnan in WCW and you're right, if I remember correctly they would air that music video more then 1 time a night.
In fact, everything about the nWo Wolfpac was horrible.

I ran for the hills anytime Konnan's music video or Disco's parody came on.

I believe it was premiered on nitro,I remember it being played alot and going...why? Also to answer someone I think both Konnan and Unmasked Rey Mysterio came out to the song.

Yeah the first video was the song "Psycho" (which later was used as the filthy animals stable theme with Rey, Kidman and Eddie)and it premiered while Konann was still Wolfpac so wasn't his theme until after the fingerpoke and being kicked out of the nWo. The second song/video (the chorus of bow wow wow yippy yo yippy yay arriba la raza all day every day aka oil of olay all day every day) was the one Disco parodied. And yeah right on they showed this videos an insane amount of times on Nitro and Thunder (multiple times a night)

I remember the first time they played it when they forgot to edit out the obvious drug references and then how awkward the song sounded later with an entire line missing from it but still laughing because you know what it said.

I heard Eric Bischoff's son was a huge rap fan, and that somehow convinced him that he needed some rapping babyfaces to appeal to kids of the day. That eventually lead to the 'No Limit Soldiers' coming in.
