Orton vs Jeff Hardy-rumble '08 I'm pretty sure Orton retained the title in that match, rather than winning it.

Vader won the world belt clean from Sting at GAB '92.

Does Flair at RR 92 count? Hogan pulled Sid out after being eliminated. It does and probably is the best example. In that one, Flair NEVER hid or dodged anyone. He was often the first wrestler to attack entrants. As a heel you gotta do something quite noble if GORILLA MONSOON talks about how awesome you are. And he did.

Yokozuna won the title clean from Hogan when you think about it. Hogan was distracted by the camera man where the camera exploded in his face, but there was no cheating on Yoko's part.

That's still outside interference and a fire spot was especially rare for WWF at the time. I wouldn't count that as a clean win. The story of the match was that Hogan almost had Yokozuna beaten until that photographer spot. Only after that interference was Yokozuna able to finish off Hogan.

I can't remember the specifics but did Edge use shenanigans when he won the title from RVD? They announcers acted like there were and the camera cuts to the audience the producers decided to show made it out like it was. If I recall, John Cena put RVD in the FU. Edge takes out Cena. Edge pins RVD. If that's all it was then there wasn't anything illegal. I wouldn't even call that 'heelish' either, though WWE portrayed it as if he "stole" the match from Cena. If I recall, that's basically what babyface Mankind did to win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam and he was cheered for it and the announcers didn't see it as a dastardly way to win. Edge hit Cena w/the title belt after Cena FU'ed RVD & pinned RVD, but since triple threats are no dq, it was technically clean. Also, Hardy beat Anderson clean in a ladder match at AAO.

Was Brock a heel when he beat Angle on SmackDown in the Iron Man Match? I seriously can't remember, but I'll always remember that Brock appeared on local radio station in Atlanta during that week and spoiled it for me by referring to himself as the WWE Champion before SmackDown aired. Yeah, Brock was heel when he won.

Yeah, Brock was heel when he won. Didn't he also hit Angle with a chair, lose a fall due to DQ, then win one while Angle was unconscious? Yup. Lesnar just blasted Angle with one or two chairshots and then pinned him twice like right after. That was the main storyline of the match

In the same fashion of the Brock Lesnar Ironman match strategy (hit a guy with a chair to lose a fall, but inevitably gaining the upper hand later on):
Harley Race beat Dusty Rhodes clean for the NWA title in 1979. I believe the night Dusty won from Harley, he had his arm broken in the process. Five nights later, Race regained the belt by working over Dusty's arm.
To the fans there that night, it was clean. Dusty tried "gutting it out" but Harley was just too smart.
(Yeah, I stuck with the kayfabe reason.)
