from the observer
So, I guess, like Dixie did to Cornette, they're going to be fired for being fully behind the creative direction?

How can Dixie fire them when she is not in charge?

Eric Bischoff is a tic in dire need of being popped

I believe this. I read somewhere that Bischoff's number one objective was the same as Heyman's: fire Vince Russo. Unlike Heyman, however, that wasn't a deal-breaker for Eric. And we all know how Hogan's initial relationship with Russo ended in WCW.

The Carter family shouldn't be in the wrestling business. They're nice people. Too nice for wrestling.

If they get fired because of Russo it'll be greatest thing he's ever done besides giving Booker T his first title reign.

Honestly, TNA should fire them all and give the book to someone else. Problem solved.

Bischoff was booked right in the WWE. Hogan has never been an authority figure but he could be booked right as well. Russo is the problem. He always was the problem. He is almost getting a free pass now because people will throw everything at Hogan and Bischoff for the last two years worth of shows, when it is the same writing style as it always was (if it smells like Russo, chances are it is Russo). Within the first six months of Hogan and Bischoff's debut, we had a Montreal Screwjob reenactment, Orlando Jordan squirting himself with white liquid (a gay/bi gimmick), a lockbox challenge where women stripping was the main selling point, etc, etc, etc. Who in their right mind would think Bischoff would write something like that when nothing he did in WCW even mirrored that? Ditto Hogan (who hasn't booked anything to my knowledge but doesn't seem like his style either).
Like I said, people will blame Hogan and Bischoff for 2010 and 2011, so Russo will be safe. He is the elephant that no one wants to see, apparently.

Try actually following the story rather than quoting something which turned out to be false.

Dude, Neal was celebrated it on twitter, confirmed it to people who asked, then backtracked when the story blew up and claimed he never said anything in the first place. Which was laughable.
And don't say "it was just his girlfriend" because the initial tweets made it clear it was both of them.

Dixie is keeping Russo around because he's her friend. Even though his crappy booking is a large part of why TNA is going nowhere. She plays favourites constantly, and seems to be generally indifferent to anyone who's not a star or one of her friends (Ask Daffney what a nice person she is.)
I've never seen any real evidence of her being a nice person, apart from the act she puts on. As a wrestling promoter, if you look at the various things she's done, she's incredibly scummy and makes Vince look like a saint.

I think Russo gets too much stick. I don't like the guy but he had presided over some great periods in TNA. And lets face it, it has been terrible since Hogan and Bischoff arrived.

Only period that was ever great was late 2009. And that was apparently because Russo was told not to do anything major and just keep things in place till Hogan and Bischoff came in. I've can't really think of any other times he produced a great show or great buyrates.

But aside from late '09 (which either way shows that he can book) I loved '07 and '05 (aside from a few stupid match ups - Electrified Steel Cage, Elevation X etc.). I just don't know if they have anything to do with Russo, but I presume they did.

If two non-wrestling, on-screen characters (which according to Bischoff and Hogan is all they are) aren't in line with the creative department's vision - then they should be either told to get in line or not renew their contracts.
I will say this much, I'd be very impressed if Dixie actually stuck to her word and did show them the door for not being on message with the rest of the company.

Honestly, TNA should fire them all and give the book to someone else. Problem solved. Though I've seen some improvements recently, this is, and has for a long time, been the correct answer.

Not trying to defend Bischoff and Hogan here, but nobody sane is 100% behind Russo.
