He's been brilliant since Team 3D broke up, hasn't he?
While Devon.....um.....brought his family. But yeah, Bully Ray is superb. Wouldn't mind him getting a deserved TNA World title run for a short time.

As great as he's been, I do NOT want to see him win the title. He shouldn't be anything more than an enforcer/mouthpiece.

He's been brilliant since Team 3D broke up, hasn't he?..... Agreed, Bully Ray quickly became one of my current favorite wrestlers. Something I would never have thought possible when Team 3-D spilt up several months ago.

I am one of those who also thought that Team 3D should've never been broken up but I was proven wrong. Bully Ray is the sole bright light in this Immortal stable as he's been delivering solid promos and doing great as the complete dick in the ring. However, I don't necessarily agree he should be a World Heavyweight Champion but I can definitely see him work programs with the likes of Angle, Sting and RVD on a regular basis.

But, I do agree he's been fantastic since he split from D-Von. Although, he's always been great on the mic. I thought his solo run on Raw as a face a few years back was really solid, but D-Von tanked on SD so they put them back together. If not for that I think he would've had a pretty solid singles run, not a permanent main eventer or anything but right up there.

It's odd but Heyman tried to push him as a singles guy occasionally in ECW with no real results aside from the Taz match at Hardcore Heaven 99 (which was impromptu). WWE also tried it in late 2002. The thing is at least with TNA they have let him truly strike out on his own and have repackaged him as something besides his usual gimmick.
With that said, no way he's ever getting the world title.

He doesn't need the world title. He's able to create a build for matches without it. He's great as upper midcard and a mouthpiece for those fighting in the main events. He's working, and there's no need to fix it.

Him getting in good shape definitely helps. I don't know about putting the belt on him but he has been quite effective as an upper-midcard enforcer-type.

That promo where he went off on a rant on how much of a bully and coward Sting was, only to then basically force Steiner into a match with him instead represents everything I love about the character.

Like I said before, damn great talker but he has no place near a wrestling ring if you want to have great matchs. Esp. in 2011. Have him build the feuds up though, he should be TNA's #1 heel manager.

Bully Ray has always had this side of him, and it's a shame that nobody really realized it until now. Check out this awesome promo from a few years ago.

whenever he retires from in-ring action he'd make a helluva manager.

Count me in the "He's an awesome enforcer/mouthpiece but shouldn't touch a World title" group.

Isn't it weird how stuff like this is working out for IW?
Bully Ray being pushed as a main event heel only happened because of the trouble with Jeff Hardy.
And Fortune turning face and becoming a strong stable of original stars only happened because IW couldn't get Nash and Booker back to reform MEM.
