Judge Judy would have knocked this case out in 30 minutes, plus commercials.

Stop getting this case continued. I mean, it isn't like Jeff has to worry about keeping TNA happy as they aren't bringing him back until after this whole mess. Just serve your time Jeff and let us all move on. This is self-serving. If you want to move on, stop paying attention to it. Any good lawyer worth his mustard will get a case continued for the client if it means less chance of jail time, especially in drug cases since its not cut and dry every case. I don't care anymore what happens to Jeff. I've lost respect for him in almost every way. If he wants help, he can get it. If he doesn't, he'll pay the price. What I mean by, get the whole thing taken so Jeff Hardy can continue with his career. The longer this is continued, the longer he continues to languish at home.

Another continuance is what there will always be. Another conclusive trial is what you will never see.

That will do him no good. 28 days isn't long enough to get clean. Jeff would be lucky if he can get a 28 day rehab. With insurance and cuts to socail services, a 14 day stay is typical. The time in rehab isn't that important compared to patients desire to change his life.

That will do him no good. 28 days isn't long enough to get clean. 28 days is the standard for inpatient rehab, a lot of places won't even offer that. A majority of the time, after detox, inpatient places will deny someone who 'needs' rehab, in order for them to try outpatient first then if they fail outpatient, will be recomended for a 28 day program.

Just let Jeff go to rehab if it's best for him, that way people can stop just bashing him and TNA over-and-over, beating a dead-horse for no good reason.

Rehab will never help Jeff if he doesn't want to get help. But going to prison when you have a drug problem is not a good thing. I want what's best for Jeff but I don't know what that is.

Rehab will never help Jeff if he doesn't want to get help. But going to prison when you have a drug problem is not a good thing. I want what's best for Jeff but I don't know what that is. Whats best for him is probably for people to leave him alone and let the chips fall where they may. Like you said rehab isn't going to help him if he doesn't want to be there. He is going to have to hit rock bottom(whatever that may be since it is different for different diseased drug addicts) and choose to go to rehab on his own. If anyone wants to get an idea about how tough drug addiction is I encourage you to listen to the first few episodes of Jay and Silent Bob Get Old podcast where Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes talk about Jason Mewes' battles with drug addiction. Basically the only reason he is doing the podcast is to help him stay clean.

My understanding is that drugs would be easier for Jeff to get in jail than outside of jail, but at some point, if he's that determined to be a reprobate, locking him up is something you're doing for the good of society, because Jeff will be in a place where he can only hurt himself. Still, like you said, nothing works if you don't really want it to work.

Basically the only reason he is doing the podcast is to help him stay clean. I was gonna mention this. Smith tried as hard as anybody to help the guy get over his drug problems, but as with most addicts it didn't matter how hard he tried, it just didn't take. If Jeff's looking to go to rehab because he doesn't want jailtime, he's doing it for the wrong reasons. If he's doing it because he wants to get clean and stay clean, then hopefully it'll work for him.
