Am I right in saying that Challenge didn't even bother broadcasting the PPV with the screwed-up Sting/Hardy match? They just had an old repeat of Impact on in the Saturday night slot where I thought they'd have it. Could that have damaged the reputation of the brand (and hence the viewing figures for subsequent Impacts)? I'm pretty sure a lot of the appeal of TNA in the UK over the years has been free-to-air (but late) PPVs - it certainly has been a difference-maker for me. Impact has more and more been used as a two-hour ad for each forthcoming PPV, with less and less actual wrestling. Once the freebie PPV is taken away, where's the appeal in watching Impact? They showed the entire PPV intact. Think PPV's are on Wednesdays, Saturday is the repeat of impact. I'm very sure we didn't hear the "This is bull***t" chants after the match I believe, but all 2 minutes of the match had it's moment to shine.

Nothing was edited out, as far as I know - the bull**** chants weren't even that audible to begin with, really.

I thought we missed seeing the aftermath of the match and Sting walking up the ramp as they cut to him just after he said "I agree." Either way, we didn't miss anything of importance.

I think alot of the reason is that it's on Challenge now. I had no idea until this thread which is why I haven't watched TNA for a while, didn't think it aired at all in the UK any more since Bravo ended.

I think alot of the reason is that it's on Challenge now. Not really; the point is that the rating dropped a lot from previous screenings on that network.

When I flick through the channels and stop to look at a TNA show on Challenge I feel stupid to do so. Yeah WWE might get a lot of flak for its PG and all but TNA is really poor quality.

And theyre back with what I believe is their 2nd or 3rd highest figure ever. According to the Broadcasters Audience Research Board – TNA iMPACT! ranked 2nd overall in the top 10 programmes on Challenge, drawing a superb 174,000 viewers, for the Tuesday 5th April “R-V-Damned” episode featuring a Sting, Rob Van Dam & Mr. Anderson vs. Abyss, Matt Hardy & Bully Ray Cage Match Main Event which saw the return of the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels. tnauk.wordpress.com/2011/04/19/tna-uk-tv-ratings-%E2%80%93-week-ending-10th-april-2011/
