Impact from March 29th didn't even crack the Top 10 on Challenge TV this week. The show in 10th place drew 125,000 viewers.
Did anything go wrong with Challenge that week for some people? Strange that the week before Impact was in the top 3 most watched programmes with 184,000 viewers. The Raw from a few days earlier (the go-home Wrestlemania show) had 177,000 viewers. Which is up 30,000 from the previous week.

Well, on this side of the pond, I thought the last episode of Impact! was VERY weak. Maybe word got around in the UK that it was such?

I used to watch it on Bravo religiously, then it switched to Challenge and I haven't bothered watching it. I'd like to say that it was because I was "confused" about the change but the truth is, it's just always been awful.
I feel like I've escaped to a women's refuge.

Am I right in saying that Challenge didn't even bother broadcasting the PPV with the screwed-up Sting/Hardy match? They just had an old repeat of Impact on in the Saturday night slot where I thought they'd have it. Could that have damaged the reputation of the brand (and hence the viewing figures for subsequent Impacts)? I'm pretty sure a lot of the appeal of TNA in the UK over the years has been free-to-air (but late) PPVs - it certainly has been a difference-maker for me. Impact has more and more been used as a two-hour ad for each forthcoming PPV, with less and less actual wrestling. Once the freebie PPV is taken away, where's the appeal in watching Impact?

They showed the entire PPV intact. Think PPV's are on Wednesdays, Saturday is the repeat of impact.

Well, how many of a select few who are monitored watch, which is not necessarily reflective of overall viewership (unless it works differently in the UK to what it does here)...

This makes a welcome change from the circle jerk threads of the last 2 weeks.
TNA really need to look at their advertising structure. Everyone in the world knows when and what time Raw is on. TNA need to do the same thing with Impact.

Maybe it's a protest from our colonial overlords after TNA lost their TV deal in Australia.

Stupid Challenge. There must be some way in which this is them being stupid and not me, right? Clocks did go forward a few weeks back, I blame that. The clocks did go forward a couple of days before. Raw went back to being at 2am that week, it had been on at 1am for the previous 2 weeks due to the clocks going forward in the USA 2 weeks before the UK. It's weird that even with a later timeslot, Raw improved on the previous weeks viewing figure.
