The more I think about it, the more it seems to me that the X-Division has taken a back seat to much of the newer talent. Now, I'm not saying the new talent shouldn't be pushed (given his big introduction, Crimson alone should be getting a lot more screen time), but the X-Division isn't even being showcased all that much. The few X-Division wrestlers who do get screen presence are those in the crux of the Fortune/Immortal feud. The rest seem stuck in dead end storylines, if they get screen time at all. Also, if you recall, Austin Aries retired from pro-wrestling either earlier this year or last year. The reason: he just couldn't make the money he needed to in Ring of Honor. And if the rumors are to be believed, then TNA has taken advantage of those who can't use leaving for WWE as leverage (Victoria/Tara, Daniels) by freezing their pay or not giving them sufficient increases.
However, speaking of WWE, ROH should see if they can get their hands on some of their stars too. Yoshi Tatsu, Tyson Kidd, and several other light heavyweights have been greatly underused by the WWE, who in a lot of cases, seem to be more concerned with keeping wrestlers out of TNA than actually using them. Stars like the ones I mentioned, as well as several others, could do well or even thrive in ROH, as the new Tag Champions, Haas and Benjamin, seem to have.
Now why would they go to Ring of Honor? The idea would be for Ring of Honor to become an official third company in the wrestle-war between WWE and TNA; the ECW of the new promotion clash. A televised deal (or bi-televised, with Shimmer as it's own show: their SmackDown, if you would). Between their televised presence (and not on HD Net, a channel a lot of people don't even get, but on a competitive channel) and an electrifying roster, they could probably overtake TNA, even WWE, among hardcore (as opposed to casual) wrestling fans who want something more storyline-light and wrestling-heavy.
