Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam. Change the finish of that match, and have the winner face Sting. Or, have a three way. RVD and Anderson put on a crappy match though, which I did see and it's just my opinion, but I felt it was a bad match. However, despite that, they were battling to be number one contender, so I would have went in that direction. It's not rocket science. It's like when Gen Me didn't show up at the pay per view the month before. They were in a number one contenders match, Robbie E was the only one there, he wins by default, and challenges for the belt. Then again, you're assuming that this occured when the Anderson/RVD match was still on or before that went on instead of happening just as the main event was occuring. Would be toally different. So, was Jeff on drugs during the pay per view? Was he getting messed up right before the match, or was this an issue during most of the day. If they just realized that the guy is messed up, right before he went out of the curtain, then that's an issue with TNA management.

But how do you take Jeff out of the equation, with Bischoff/Hogan in power? If Jeff gets laid out in the back, maybe by Fourtune or someone with a vested interest in taking down Immortal, why would Bischoff give his spot to RVD/Anderson? He'd either call off the match entirely which would be an even bigger outrage, or have to put someone else from Immortal in the spot. Maybe Matt, but he already had a match that night. Otherwise, who? Gunner? Murphy? HOGAN?! Well have the "Network" call and say they want something that will draw in ratings so the title match has to take place RVD & Anderson have to face Sting if Jeff can't. You can explain it as the Network is getting a cut of the PPV buyrae, it thinks people will want their money back if the title match doesn't deliver. It is a ppv, I dont see why they would care what "The Network" says.

Losing Jeff really wouldn't affect TNA much since the same hardcore group of fans that have always watched will keep watching and things will stay about the same. That's what I'm curious about as well. How much money is Jeff Hardy making TNA to excuse his actions? This isn't Charlie Sheen and Impact isn't one of the highest rated sitcoms in the country. Not enough I bet. TNA's ratings have floated at around the same place since forever, what the hell difference does Jeff make? What does ANYONE make? Someone earlier mentioned the WWE being in a position where every talent is expendable. Honestly, I think that applies more to TNA, since TNA has the same core group of fans and losing any star doesn't make a difference to them.
