So, assuming Jeff Hardy isn't around, what happens now? Who feuds with Sting? The hype for the sheer idea that he'd be at Wrestlemania shows the star power he still retains. If you were running TNA, what would you do with the title picture?
Personally, I'd turn Kennedy heel, without any association with Immortal (which as an angle is pretty much dead at this point) and feud with Sting. The only alternative is RVD (which personally just seems meh to me, Sting needs a good heel to work well with) and AJ which has already been done.
So yeah, what would you do now to book towards the next couple of big events?

I think you're right. It will be a heel Anderson, but like you said, I have no interest in seeing him aligned with Immortal.

Agreed, I'd have Anderson turn full out heel against Sting.

Anderson seems to be being given the main event heel roll anyway, so push him.

I mentioned in another thread that I thought it was a foregone conclusion that they're building towards Anderson coming in hot and heavy when he finally does get his rematch. And wrestling for the #1 Contendership doesn't count - that wasn't his rematch, and why should he have to "earn" his own title shot that he contractually has? (Unless they explained that away on the last Impact, which I only saw the first few minutes of so far.)
I'd like to see Immortal regroup, find a new "golden boy," and come back strong after Lockdown. Or perhaps build to a new Immortal team for the War Games match.

I agree with that, but apart from Anderson, whose in place to take that role? Abyss has disappeared and is established as the 'weapon'. Matt Hardy, though I like him more than a lot of people, doesn't have the 'it' factor. Styles is face and another turn would really hurt his momentum. That only really leaves Angle, Jarrett and Joe, none of whom would fit or have the momentum to be the golden boy. Personally, since he's already heel and has the fanbase, I'd love Bischoff and Hogan's characters to pick Pope as their new chosen one. Its already established he's greedy for money, he's great on the mic, can hold his own in the ring and associating with them would create insta-feuds with Sting and AJ given their history. Just me armchair booking though.

I'm guessing a triple threat at Lockdown with either Anderson turning heel and winning or Sting retaining and Pope beating Joe in their feud and then being pushed to the ME.

Kennedy heel turn would make the most sense, followed by a short Matt Hardy push, so I'd say they randomly give Burke the strap, bring back Abyss, or turn RVD.

Charlie Haas or Shane Helms will come in and take over the main event spot.

I'd like to see Bischoff randomly declare that Sting is not the real champion, and none of the reigns since Hardy's first have counted. And the reason for that is there is a man who is the true champion and holds the proper title - Eric Young, suddenly back in his World Elite persona.
That'd be the kind of title win deserving of standing alongside Dolph Ziggler's.

It will be a heel Anderson.
Or they could throw us a curve ball and have a heel RVD, but he's going through the motions in TNA either way so I'd go with Anderson.

It goes with TNA having problems with heels and babyfaces, and how turning Mr. Anderson would be somewhat redundant as they turn everybody constantly.
To be honest, the only heel who is capable at the moment is Matt Hardy, which some people won't like, but RVD and Anderson stunk up the joint at Victory Road, only to be overshadowed by the main event. Where as Hardy and Styles tore the roof off the place.
Jeff Jarrett maybe as well, but TNA maybe turning him babyface, like, man, what a weird pay per view.

How in the world is Jarrett turning babyface? Thats the most bizarre speculation ive seen in a while, lol. Saying that hes going to call a truce with Angle several months into their feud with the big blowoff show only a month away isnt leaning babyface, its setting up one last big heel move to piss Angle off even more.

Is working with a sober Anderson really any safer than working with a high Jeff Hardy?

That's what it looked like. He's on pay per view, being really nice to his kids, going out and having fun and wanting his kids to have fun too. I'm all for characters having different dimensions, but how do you boo a guy who goes out and has fun with his kids and show it to people. He looks like the nicest guy you could ever meet, he spent his second honeymoon just pleasing his kids with water park rides and lots of pizza. How are people going to boo him?
