I'll update the first post when I can find some decent spoilers. The only ones I could locate were on gerweck and they were a bit weak.

There is a difference between a man returning to continue a storyline and him winning the title on his first night back. Really? You want to argue if STING deserved a title win here? Okay, I get you don't like first night title wins, but come on! It is not just that, it has to do with the fact that you have young guys like RVD, Anderson, and AJ Styles who should be in that top feud and you chose Sting, a fifty-one year old man who doesnt need the world title anymore. You could trash this new regime all you want (and lord knows I have), but one thing they didnt do was put the belt on old men. That is my problem.

Thing is,how did he get the title shot if he is against the people in charge. You could at least wait for TV to show it, but I think you can give a reason for "The Network" making a match. Why would the network give Sting a title shot? He obviously doesn't bring in ratings so it's quite pointless.

Well TNA made me commit a first, I left the show before it ended...the whole thing felt like one giant clusterf*** to me.... Although seeing Sting was cool, when you think about it him winning the title deserves the Cornette face... Yes, because the man who was on of the first people to call out Hogan and Bischoff on what occurred at BFG and actually continuing an angle he was involved in first-hand was such a dumb idea...... Yeah if you sat there through all of the production f*** ups and bad sound system like I did tonight, you would sum tonight up as a huge clusterf*** as well....

Velvet pinned Cookie( a kayfabe non wrestler)... She is being booked as the female of NXT Daniel Bryan(without the in ring skills) Are you for reals? First it was Ted DiBiase is a future WWE World Champion. Then it was Sarita delivered a prime Edge level mic segment (even though the segment referred to wasn't broadly acknowledged as being anything that uniquely special even on Sarita or TNA fan sites that I observed.) Then it was "Someone's not worth anything because the WWE (who the IWC pretty much exists to pan) didn't pick her up." Then it was Winter will cost Velvet her match. How does it feel to be wrong about pretty much everything?

Back from the show. Being there live really makes the show suck a lot less, except the Knockouts & wedding. They sucked regardless.
Notes:
1. I spoke to Don West! He worked like a dog the entire night. He looked like he was about to pass out when the show was over. Newfound respect for the man.
2. I talked to & got autographs from Matt Morgan, Eric Young, Orlando Jordan, & Mickie James. I said to each of them: Matt Morgan: "I'm a huge fan." His reply: "Thanks, man." (Said sincerely) Eric Young: "You're the real World Champ!" His reply: "HA HA! Yeah!" Orlando Jordan: "I love your theme music." His reply: "Cool man, enjoy the show." Mickie James: "I haven't been to a live show in over a decade." She responded "Wow, really? Are you excited?" Stunned she actually started up a conversation with me, I said "Yeah!" She then smiled at me, said "enjoy the show" and ACTUALLY SHOOK MY HAND!!! I nearly died right there. And she kept smiling at me as I turned to walk away.
3. Bought Pope Sunglasses, a Pope shirt, and a Brown Bag Special. TNA is running a hustle where you can only get that if you buy a Jeff Hardy T-shirt. Bastards. I feel bad for giving Jeff drug money.
4. JB is the best hypeman in history. He made sure we would hate the wedding segment by plugging it after every match.
5. The stage really made life difficult for the talent. Angle, Robbie E, and James Storm all slipped on it. A horrible tragedy was avoided when James Storm saved himself and managed to get almost every drop of beer in his mouth. Beer Money, especially the Boozer Cruiser, was WAY over. Beer Money chants were present throughout the night. The crowd got REALLY into that.
6. Even in person, Max & Jeremy Buck look like 12-year-olds, as does Rosita. GenMe had a pretty solid match with Ink Inc, who also was way over. The dark-haired GenMe Guy is turning heel sometime in the near future.
7. No bad matches. Everything was either good to meh. Meh being the Knockouts & the good being Sting/Hardy, Joe/Pope, & AJ/Flair & Hardy. AJ vs. Flair & Hardy was the most enjoyable match of the night. I said "Good job out there, AJ" to AJ after the show. He looked over & said thanks. I didn't notice the rest of Fourtune passing me until they were almost out of shouting distance.
8. The wedding was just as stupid and pointless as I thought it was going to be. When they announced that the real thing would be up next at the end of the night, people couldn't get to the exits fast enough. Damn near the entire 2-3 rows in front of me all left before it started. Those that stayed booed the shit out of the Jarretts.
9. No sign of Crimson at all. Not even a mention.
10. At the start of the show, I actually lost control of my cognative faculties and cheered Hulk Hogan along with everybody else. Halfway down the ramp, I realized that I hated him and instantly gagged a little for having sunk to that level of markdom. Really ashamed of myself.
11. I was PISSED when Pope didn't do his regular entrance. I was PISSED that there would be no money drop and I wouldn't get a Pope Dollar.
12. Hardly anybody cared about Roxxi or Hernandez. Morgan was way over, though. Signing autographs will do that for you.
13. Hardcore Country sounds even lamer live, as did most of TNA's themes bar Jeff Hardy's, Pope's, Joe's, and Sting's.
14. When they did the WWE-style build for Sting, I facepalm'd. I really did. But when Sting's music hit, I damn near pissed myself. I haven't seen Sting in person since the early 90s when I was about 7-8 years old. I teared up watching him appear and win the World Title. I lept to my feet when his trademarked "Scorpion Rage" kicked in against Hardy. That > Hulking Up.
Biggest Pop: 1. Flair & Sting 3. Hogan 4. Jeff Hardy/Beer Money 5. Matt Hardy/Anderson/RVD
Most Heat: 1. Wedding Segment - Easily the most sustained heat I've ever heard. 2. Eric Bischoff 3. Hulk Hogan (After heeling it up against Sting) 4. Jeff Hardy (After saying "Fayetteville can kiss his enigmatic ass!") 5. Gunther & Muffy
All in all, I'm glad I got off my ass for once and actually went to a wrestling event. Watching it through a jaded TV screen doesn't do it justice.

Why the hell would you feel bad for marking out? That's the point of wrestling, get lost in it. Not be judgmental, not be a "smart mark" or any of that bullcrap. But just enjoy yourself. If you cheered for Hogan, good! But don't feel ashamed!
Glad you had a good time and sounds like a good show. Well, minus the wedding.

Not that I'm surprised, but Sting returned to the wrong company. If Sting/WWE did have talks, I wonder what the hell Vince wanted from him.

Sounds watchable some serious crap but some serious awesomeness with Sting winning, also TNA has really hot shot its title recently. First they take it off AJ after 8 months a very long and respectable run, then give RVD about 5 months not too bad (They vacated it off him in a very stupid manner), then put it on Hardy but after 3 months they put it on Anderson only to have it back on Hardy, then to have Hardy drop it back to Sting.
If you think about it from October to March (Jeff to Anderson, Anderson to Jeff, Jeff to Sting) there has been just as many title changes in TNA then there was from October 09 to October 10 (Sting to AJ, AJ to RVD, and RVD vacated)

Uh-oh Krimzon, macking on Mickie James. I bet you were blushing when you looked back. I was grinning ear to ear. Had I had my wits about me, I might've spit some game at her, but I thought the situation called for a bit more class than that. Plus, I JUST managed to get their autographs before they stopped. DW came out and bellowed that they would only be there for 10 more minutes. I got all 4 with about 2 minutes to spare. The line was long as hell, but it had NOTHING on the line to meet Fourtune & get a picture with RVD. Both lines were backed up almost completely around the building.

Kind of too bad for Anderson.
His title reign is brief and the guy he loses it back to in turn loses it quickly himself.
I think Ken has done some alright work for them since joining. Not a great way for TNA to really push him fairly early on at the top. Then again, it could be worse. He could be Pope. Or Joe.

Besides Sting & Flair, the highlight of the night was being able to see behind the stage area where a darkened Rob Terry & Scott Steiner were walking around and stretching. I shit you not, a lot of people in my section were more interested in that than they were Immortal & Dixie in the ring.

Glad you enjoyed yourself dude. Nothing against TV but indeed it isn't nearly the same and in many ways doesn't do a product true justice.

I was at the show and thought basically everything outside of seeing Sting and Flair live was garbage. But Sting and Flair made it worth sitting through.

Towards the end of the show I saw Don and he was indeed exhausted. He asked "anybody need anything?" and I was tempted to ask if he had any Ken Griffey Jr rookie cards but I opted not to troll a nice guy. 5. Mickie tripped too. I loved the tron set-up though, they probably should have nixed the ramp though. 8. Yeah I was so happy when the first segment was as short as it was only to be dismayed when I realized it would be the last thing on. I was one of the people who got out of seat and stood towards the back to get a better jump on leaving. 9. lol, I also facepalmed when the 3/3/11 thing came up but marked out like crazy when Sting came out.

Why would they give it to Sting? I thought Sting "Retired" anyway. I was really hoping for Abyss or AJ. I really hope Abyss wins it off Sting.

What really amazed me was SoCal Val. She was on her feet in 4-5 inch heels for 4 hours, walking back & forth between the staging area and ringside. She was taking ring attire, giving out snacks at ringside, handing wrestlers what appeared to be an endless supply of microphones during the Hogan/Bischoff/Sting/RVD/Hardy/Anderson promo. I mean really; 6 people in the ring and every one of them had a microphone. She also did ring announcing duties when JB was backstage.
SoCal Val is criminally undervalued by TNA fans. You don't really appreciate what she does until you see her do it.
