Ugly look for Sting, but heartening at least to hear Sting-Jeff was a good match.
So at least the fitness and injury problems he had seem to be dealt with well enough. I have no problem with a Sting that's capable of working matches out there, whereas he was a sad waste match-wise for like the last 18 months or so.
Still wish he'd jumped for WWE, though. I guess the only thing is that if he finally does it next year he could get the headline HOF spot, rather than getting overshadowed by HBK. Wishful thinking, I know.
Also a total hotshot, but perhaps they're finally getting jumpy about Jeff's chances in the court case...?

This show seems so random.

That top rope Scorpion death drop sounds nasty.

When Bryan was in NXT he lost 10 matches in a row, his first win was a fluke win over Santino, and then he started to win... Well, no, then he lost to A-Ri, then he started to win. Well, no, he was fired first, then he started to win.

That top rope Scorpion death drop sounds nasty. It didn't look very good at all to be honest.

10. At the start of the show, I actually lost control of my cognative faculties and cheered Hulk Hogan along with everybody else. No reason to feel ashamed. That's the power of Hulkamania, brother! I envy you. Only show I have ever been to live was in 1988 where I expected to see Hogan, but instead got a Savage/Dibiase main event (Hulk was filming No Holds Barred based on the time line). Even though you don't like him, I envy you for having seen him live, even if it was in TNA. Seeing Hogan, Sting, and Flair in the same night is incredible regardless of what year it is. Sounds like a great time. I'm not a Flair fan, but I would have marked for him live, too. Legends are legends. As far as Sting winning the belt, eh, don't have an issue with it. In hindsight, they shouldn't have hot shotted the belt to Anderson for no reason, but I have no problem with a 50-year old Sting being world champion. If this is the farewell tours for Sting, Hogan, and Flair, I'd rather they use them as big deals rather than background characters. If Sting can still go, put him at the top of the card. Who does it hurt? AJ and others can still go for the belt at a later date, and Sting will drop it to someone eventually (hopefully not back to Hardy).

So, if i am understanding this correctly, "The Network" wants ratings, and decided the best way to get those is to have Sting compete for and eventually win the TNA World Title in a match that had no build-up, and have Sting not even be announced as the challenger until the match was about to start.
I'm no expert, but that doesn't seem like the best way to get ratings, to me.

Oh I didnt think of this but, Mr. Anderson is #1 contender via a triple threat victory. How does Sting and later Jeff Hardy leap frog the guy.
The results of this entire taping made the number one contender triple threat match from this Thursday.........completely pointless.

It was Bischoff taking advantage of hostility between RVD/Anderson by booking the match, then Jarrett getting him to add Angle to it. Contendership was never mentioned.

Yeah Bischoff definitely said Sting vs. Hardy and RVD vs. Anderson because of their 'grudge'.

Well, no, then he lost to A-Ri, then he started to win. Well, no, he was fired first, then he started to win. I'm pretty sure he beat Miz on Raw right after he was eliminated from NXT to tie up loose ends before the Nexus thing.

6. Even in person, Max & Jeremy Buck look like 12-year-olds, as does Rosita. GenMe had a pretty solid match with Ink Inc, who also was way over. The dark-haired GenMe Guy is turning heel sometime in the near future. Both members of Generation Me have been heels for a few months now.

What I should've said was that the blonde one was going to be turning face. They are definitely teasing a split.
