Holy crap, this looks bad. And I was kinda pumped for it too when I heard that Ray Park was going to be in it.
I'd like to hear what Spoony thinks of DOA (which I assume he's doing next) because I actually kinda liked it.

He hit the nail on the head that Terry looks like someone from CSI.
He missed an opportunity to joke about Kyo's dad. He died because he realized he was his father.

Oh, good. King of Fighters is out.
That means we're almost to him doing Dead or Alive, which is the only one of these I've been looking forward too. It's the only one of these I've seen.
The last two reviews were funny, though. I'm sure this one will be, too, but that DoA video can't come fast enough for me.

Spoony looked more like Terry Bogard than the Terry Bogard in the movie!
Personally, I can't wait for DOA either. Dying to see Spoony's reaction to Kevin Nash.

Yikes, just yikes.
With so many people behind this film you'd think at least someone involved had actually played any of the games. The Mai thing is really funny tho' you'd think they intentionally went out of their way to find an actress that was least like the actual Mai just to piss people off.
God, at least the Tekken movie tried.

And yes, I know that Kristin Kreuk is like half or quarter Chinese, but she doesn't look it at all.

Just like this movie where Kyo actually is japanese in the flashbacks

Just like this movie where Kyo actually is japanese in the flashbacks Sorta like in the Tekken movie how being Asian apparently skips a generation. Of course, the guy that played Kazuya is part Japanese (he's also part English and part French) but he looks a hell of a lot more European then the rest of his family. Heihachi is at least an old Japanese man but Jin is Irish- Chinese so that's a minor problem.

Hmm, how closely would the rating be on the racial accuracy of DOA? The only wildly off one is probably Ayane, at least her hair is purple I guess.
Actually DOA might be the only tournament movie that actually has tournament rules, for awhile anyway.

What about the upcoming sequel - Street Fighter: The Legend of Ryu Something?

What about the upcoming sequel - Street Fighter: The Legend of Ryu Something? WHAA? I'm joking. There's no way in hell there's going to be a sequel. But at the end of the movie, Liu Kang tells Chun-Li about a fighting tournament headed by "Ryu...something". So I always said if there was a sequel, it has to be called The Legend of Ryu Something.
