Considering their role in the Thor mythos as well as Marvel's Asgard, it makes sense to have these two running around to cause trouble for our favorite Mighty Avenger. Though, if we're to have a Thor 3, Surtur really needs to be the big bad for that one.

Excellent choices, yeah. They're pretty much, behind Loki, the defining Thor villains.

I'm glad to hear that.
Sometimes outside of Batman it seems no other superhero has any good female villains.
If Enchantress is bad ass and evil and knows how to ruin Thor's life, I'm all for it.

Err, I'm not against them as villains, but not main villians.
I'd like to echo G.S. for Surtur.

Argh! It should be Mr. Hyde. Or maybe not. I think they're fine.

It's a very good choice.
There was short storyline in the new Avengers cartoon where Enchantress was in love with Thor, but he didn't love her 'cause well... she's evil, so Enchantress decided to make Thor's life a living hell out of spite. I thought it could make good storyline for another Thor movie.

Thor should team up with Beta Ray Bill to fight Kurse or Surtur.

I did some Wikipedia'ing...
It seems like Enchantress, like Loki with the Destroyer, attacks on a physical front (the Executioner) but uses situations and mindgames to attempt to destroy Thor for selfish reasons.
From what I gathered, this Surtur character would be quite the CGI feat, but not necessarily a mental threat.
Is this correct?

Basically, Amora uses all sorts of magic like Loki while Skurge's strength and enchanted axe allows him to fight toe-to-toe with Thor. Surtur is basically the Devil of Asgard is Marvel. He's about as strong as Odin, is pryokinetic, 1000 feet tall as his strongest, and has a sword basically called Ragnarok ("Twilight" as in Twilight of the Gods, the Wagner mis-translation of how to say Ragnarok in German).

Let's keep the alien horse man as far away from the movies as possible, please?

Let's keep the alien horse man as far away from the movies as possible, please? Aww, I like good ol' Bill. Anyways, if Amora is the villain, I think I'd be OK with it if she enchanted a couple others like Ulik or Malekith the Accursed, or other guys like them.

This is basically why Darkseid is so popular in DC. He's unimaginably strong but rarely uses it. Every being in existence is a chess piece he sends others to knock off. I understand Thor now, I think. He and Odin have stubborn issues. His enemies have power and selfishness issues. It's morality in the end, just like actual mythology, correct?

I think it's a fine choice, but I would like to see the Wrecking Crew and Hela at some point as well...especially Hela.
I'm not sure how I feel about Beta Ray Bill...maybe in a third movie or something, but definately not anytime soon.
