Shattered Dimensions is up there for me, but Arkham Asylum was a lot of fun. I was really let down by not being able to play as Nightwing, Huntress, or anyone else, but oh well, I'll live.

I always forget this is based of a comic. And I even own few of them. XIII wins. Flawless victory.

I f***ing love Arkham Asylum. I just beat it the other day for the second time, the game is short, but every second is filled with doing something awesome. It captures the feeling of being Batman so well, whether it is beating the hell out of like, 20 dudes at a time, or slowly picking inmates off from the shadows as they absolutely lose their minds. Great game. Possibly my favorite from 2009.
And Batman has some absolutely badass lines in the game, "I will NEVER let you win." standing out.

Probably the best, although X-men Arcade was always fun.

Arkham Asylum is amazing, though Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions is also right up there imo.

I think I'm the only person that really didn't like Arkham Asylum Don't know why... just couldn't get into it. Really? what's not to like? 1) Beat up bad guys? Check 2) Fly around, lurk in the shadows, sneak up on people to take them down? Check 3) Solve riddles and do detective work, Batman-style? Check 4) Play with gadgets? Check 5) Be the goddamn Batman? Check and mate!

Why does this thread title have a question mark? LOL, my thoughts exactly. Arkham Asylum is hands-down the best comic book game ever. Both the gameplay and the story are fantastic and engaging. I'm hopeful that Arkham City takes is place as the best here in a couple of months, but until then, AA reigns supreme.

With the way things are looking, i'd say arkham city will far and away surpass arkham asylum. If thats the case, can you imagine how good arkham city will be

All I ask for in Arkham City is good boss fights, which was Asylum's only flaw.
