abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory?id=14334480Happened during a band called Smith Westerns set. At least 1 person is dead but some outlets are reporting 4 deaths. The only real thankful part of the story is that this took place on one of the smallest stages and during a time in the day when a lot of bigger named acts were playing elsewhere, which means that there could have been a lot more people in the area at the time who could have gotten hurt or killed. The rest of the festival has been cancelled for the day.

First, Indiana and now this? Wow... And Cheap Trick before that. Can we get a look at all the stages around the world before this happens again, please?

It's creepy that this happened twice in so such a short period of time. Hopefully this starts to mean better safety when it comes to performances like this.

I knew this would happen. It's one thing for a copycat crime perpetrated by people, but these are natural occurences. I knew it

First, Indiana and now this? Wow... Man... somebody really needs to examine the way outdoor stages are built. It's bad enough that all those people have died and seeing that chaos unravel (Me? I was hoping to have watched the WrestleMania special prior to when it happened because I was at home), but the state fair is one of the highlights of being a Hoosier. There's no point in going because an aura of sadness and sorrow hangs over the place, and this'll be remembered for years to come. If there's a degree of irony, it's that Smith Westerns is supposed to be coming to Indy on October 3rd.
