Can somebody tell me exactly how in the Hell old Biff knew how to use the DeLorean? "I think I left the user's manual on the front seat...ah well, not like anyone will use the car while I'm gone."

And while we're on the subject, that's a REALLY small book to have the results of every sporting event between 1950 and 2000 in it!

So why does Marty care so much that somebody calls him a "chicken"? I mean, he's not going to see these people from the future/past again and if they somehow do they won't remember it.

I presume the DeLorean had some kind of autopilot system.

The question that always got to me was how is that people going into the future can see themselves in the future? You don't exist from the time period you left, all the way to the time that you are going to. This was shown in the first back the future when they send Einstein one minute into the future.

How did Biff get back to the normal future after he gave young Biff the sports almanac? One would assume he would go to the alternate 2015 once he had finished his task.

I thought Biff faded away after he gave young Biff the almanac. Yea, he just faded away. Actually that was a cut scene. I figure he was able to get back to the normal future because Marty and Doc had already gone back and fixed the past.

The Delorean's controls were actually rather self-explanatory. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to pilot the thing. As for why old Biff from the future did not go to an alternate 2015, the ripple effect had not yet reached the time period yet. You'll notice once he gets out of the Delorean upon returning he seems to be in some kind of pain. This was never explained and I actually always wondered what was up with that when I was younger. It was actually because the ripple effect was quickly catching up and old Biff didn't exist in 2015 any longer due to Lorraine shooting him sometime in the 1990s.

Listen, you get into a DeLorean, you try to get it up to 88 MPH. It's just one of those unwritten rules that society exists on.

Can somebody tell me exactly how in the Hell old Biff knew how to use the DeLorean? You mean drive it or use the actual time machine? As far as driving it, that wouldn't be a problem, as he had been driving for 60 years at that point. Just how the heck he figured out how to use the time machine and remember to turn on the flux capacitor and enter all the correct dates and stuff, that's an interesting question.

Didn't he get in the car and just drive/fly away while Marty was walking toward his house? For all we know he played around with it for hours before he figured it out, and then just returned to a few seconds after he had stolen it.
You're all not thinking fourth dimensionally!

I always wondered this myself. Sure he may have be able to figure out the controls as they are pretty simple. But how would he know to floor it to 88mph?

I always wondered this myself. Sure he may have be able to figure out the controls as they are pretty simple. But how would he know to floor it to 88mph? Well he does catch a glimpse of the Deloran in 1985 just before it travels to 2015. So maybe he figures "Well they were going fast when they left so maybe I'll floor it and see what happens."
